LocationsIn this role you can work from Remote, United States OverviewGitHub is looking for a Senior Marketing Technology Operations Manager to join our Global Marketing Operations team. You’ll be focused on building and administering our Marketing technology tech stack to scale GitHub’s Revenue growth. You will do this by supporting Revenue wide strategic initiatives that impact our lead management and email communication systems, identifying areas of opportunity in our marketing tech architecture to better leverage it to support key processes, and be an integral part of providing strategic insights and projects for the Marketing team. This person will be responsible for supporting various Marketing leaders in understanding Marketing execution of specific growth activities; from campaign execution, solving complex business problems, and instituting best in class marketing architectures between GitHub and Microsoft systems. ResponsibilitiesMarketing Technology Planning and ExecutionProduct manage architectural improvements for our Marketing infrastructure by identifying growth areas for maturing our lead flow, reporting infrastructure, and campaign execution. Serve as a Marketing Operations project lead for cross functional initiatives that ensure the projects are demonstrating best in class Marketing Operations practices.Work across the Marketing Operations team on all aspects of program and campaign operations from audience targeting, to execution and evolution.Relationship ManagementManage and influence senior stakeholder expectations by providing robust communications plans, driving action, and align a broad set of stakeholders across teams that span Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product.Help develop Monthly Business Review metrics by running analyses on marketing channel and program effectiveness across the entire lifecycle of the Demand Waterfall.Continuous ImprovementAudit and monitor GitHub’s entire lead flow process to ensure that we remove gaps and find areas of improvement in our lead flow to maximize conversion rates and drive pipeline growth.Document, maintain, and evangelize Marketing Operation frameworks and processes to drive consistency across multiple partners.Audit and monitor GitHub’s marketing technologies and database utilization to ensure that we’re maximizing our marketable database and technologies. QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:7+ years experience in sales operations, marketing operations, or a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales operations, marketing operations, or a related field OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in sales operations, marketing operations, or a related field OR equivalent experience. 5+ years experience with technology process improvement. 5+ years experience in marketing operations at a Global B2B software company. 5+ years experience with marketing B2B reporting (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, Power BI). 5+ years experience with CRM technologies (e.g., Salesforce).5+ years of experience with Eloqua or Marketo.Additional or Preferred Qualifications:4+ Years of Marketing Technology integration experience via APIs, Native Integration, Webhooks.3+ Years of Content Management System (CMS) experience with platforms such as WordPress, Contentful, Squarespace etc.2+ Years of HTML/CSS/JS Experience.2+ Years of experience with SQL or Python.Good understanding of B2B email/nurture marketing best practices, deliverability/governance, data quality management and marketing attribution models.Demonstrated experience in converting business requirements into technical specifications for execution. Compensation RangeThe base salary range for this job is USD $103,200.00 - USD $273,700.00 /Yr.These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
