For more information, please visit www.ocient.com.Postition Overview:Ocient is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager focused on Communications Service Providers (CSPs), including telecommunications providers, Internet Service Providers, and satellite communications providers, to lead Ocient’s CSP vertical marketing strategy, product and solutions marketing, thought leadership, and account-based marketing (ABM) for this critical vertical. This role is for a CSP-savvy marketing leader who understands CSP ways of working – from org structures and procurement motions to technology decision-making and partner ecosystems – and can translate Ocient’s data, analytics, and AI capabilities into clear, credible narratives for data, AI, and technology executives, procurement teams, and strategic partners. This is a hybrid strategic + individual contributor role. You will define strategy, lead programs, and personally create high-impact content and campaigns while collaborating across marketing, sales, business development, solutions, and product teams. You will also represent Ocient externally at key industry forums and may serve as a spokesperson when needed. Key Responsibilities:Vertical Strategy & Go-to-Market Leadership Define and execute Ocient’s CSP vertical marketing strategy, aligned to CSP market dynamics, buying behaviors, and regional prioritiesLead global GTM campaigns and programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline in CSP segments and target marketsPartner with CSP sales, solutions, and business development teams to ensure consistent, credible, and differentiated positioning across the buyer journey Product & Solutions Marketing Translate Ocient’s platform and CSP solutions into clear value propositions grounded in CSP realities and procurement considerations for data, AI, network, and IT leadersCreate and maintain product/solutions marketing assets, including:Messaging frameworks and positioningSolution briefs, whitepapers, POVs, and customer/partner narrativesSales enablement and executive-level materialsPartner with digital and web teams to develop CSP-focused website landing pages and tailored user journeys aligned to GTM campaigns and ABM motions Industry & Field Marketing Campaigns Own and execute CSP-focused growth marketing strategy in partnership with sales, solutions, marketing, and business developmentPartner with Ocient’s ABM team to build and execute custom, tailored campaigns for priority accounts to drive awareness, executive engagement, and pipeline growthDevelop global demand generation campaign messaging, content, and engagement plans across channels (digital, events, partner motions), and align measurement with pipeline outcomesRepresent Ocient at CSP industry tradeshows, executive roundtables/briefings, and partner events.Define success metrics and reporting for CSP GTM and ABM programs, including pipeline influence, engagement, and executive participation Thought Leadership, Influencers, and Content Marketing Lead CSP thought leadership strategy that positions Ocient as a trusted authority on data-driven transformation, analytics at scale, and AI opportunities in network operations, security, revenue assurance, and customer experienceCollaborate with and help activate Ocient’s CSP-specific advisor and analyst networks to shape market-facing insights and amplify credibilityPartner with Ocient’s communications team to create CSP-specific PR and executive visibility initiatives, including:Bylines and contributed contentSpeaking abstracts and event submissionsAward submissions and recognition programsSupport CSP-relevant analyst relationship programs (briefings, narratives, supporting materials), aligning analyst engagement to GTM priorities and market positioningPartner with key industry associations (e.g., TM Forum, GSMA) to monitor CSP industry trends and activate thought leadership and content marketing to their member audiences Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration Act as a cross-functional leader aligning marketing with sales, business development, solutions, and product teamsEstablish feedback loops so CSP market signals (pain points, objections, partner inputs) inform messaging, content, campaigns, and solution prioritiesEnable internal teams with CSP-ready narratives, talk tracks, and proof pointsLeverage insights from industry associations and ecosystem partners to inform solution development, GTM priorities, and product roadmap discussions Qualifications:Required 8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant focus on CSPs (telco/ISP/satellite) and enterprise technologyDemonstrated understanding of CSP operating models and ways of working, including decision-making structures, procurement motions, and partner ecosystemsStrong background in product marketing, solutions marketing, thought leadership/content marketing, and ABMProven ability to operate in a strategy + IC capacity (player–coach), translating strategy into high-quality deliverablesDeep familiarity with data, analytics, and AI opportunities and CSP pain points; ability to map solutions to executive priorities and measurable outcomesExperience designing and executing global GTM campaigns and multi-channel programsStrong executive communication skills (writing and speaking); comfort presenting to senior audiencesTrack record of cross-functional collaboration across marketing, sales, BD, solutions, and productWillingness and ability to travel for industry events and executive engagementsAn Ideal Candidate will have:Experience marketing to Tier 1/Tier 2 telecom operators, major ISPs, satellite comms providers, or CSP ecosystem partners.Experience with analyst programs and/or being a public-facing spokesperson, panelist, or industry thought leaderExperience in partner-led, ecosystem-driven GTM modelsBilingual proficiency in English and other language.
