AptDeco has built a strong marketing foundation, with several channels already performing well. As we scale nationally, we’re looking for a senior, hands-on marketing operator to help us sharpen what’s working, introduce new growth ideas, and elevate how brand and performance work together.This role is ideal for someone who has helped scale a consumer or marketplace business and is excited to both execute day-to-day marketing and think strategically about how to drive the next phase of growth. You’ll own campaigns end-to-end, experiment with new channels and formats, and bring fresh thinking — while building on the foundation already in place.The Senior Marketing Lead will own AptDeco’s day-to-day marketing operations, with a strong focus on content strategy, social media, influencer partnerships, and growth experimentation. You’ll be responsible for building and executing campaigns across multiple channels, managing creators, analyzing performance, and helping shape our brand voice across the customer journey.You are equal parts creative storyteller and data-driven marketer, comfortable rolling up your sleeves to execute while also thinking strategically about how all the pieces connect. You’re scrappy, resourceful, and hands-on—someone who thrives in a lean environment and embraces the challenge of creating outsized impact. This is not a “corporate” role; it’s for someone who is nimble, loves the agile nature of start ups and wants to use their know how and creativity to do something different.Execution, Optimization & ExpansionOwn end-to-end execution of growth and brand campaigns across social, content, creators, and experimentationOptimize and scale existing high-performing channels while testing new formats and ideasTranslate strategic direction into clear briefs, timelines, and measurable outcomesPartner closely with the CMO to pressure-test ideas and prioritize opportunitiesWhat You’ll DoCampaign Strategy & ExecutionPlan and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, conversions and/or tell the story of the brand.Determine channel mix and coordinate execution across social, email, paid, partnerships, and owned content.Build project plans, timelines, and briefs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Content & Social MediaOwn the overall content strategy: what messages, formats, and stories we share—and on which channels.Oversee the social media calendar and collaborate with in-house or freelance creators to produce high-impact content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Substack, etcEnsure content is aligned with brand voice, marketplace positioning, and business priorities.Monitor trends and adapt content to keep AptDeco culturally relevant.Influencer & Creator PartnershipsBuild and manage influencer programs that support acquisition and brand awareness.Identify, negotiate, and onboard creators; coordinate briefs and deliverables.Track performance, optimize partnerships, and scale what works.Growth & Channel ExperimentationTest new channels (UGC, podcasts, affiliates, partnerships, new social platforms).Run A/B tests on creative, messaging, or landing pages to improve conversion and engagement.Collaborate with paid media partners or internal teams to align content with performance goals.Analytics & ReportingOwn weekly and monthly marketing reporting across social, content performance, influencers, and campaigns.Evaluate channel performance, engagement, and acquisition metrics to identify insights and opportunities.Recommend data-backed improvements to enhance reach, efficiency, and ROI.Who You'll work withYou'll work closely with the CMO, Performance Marketer, Graphic Designer and Marketing Campaign Assistant Partner with Product, Operations, Engineering and Customer Support teams to understand customer needs and translate them into effective messaging.You’re a Great Fit If You Are:A proactive problem-solver who owns projects end-to-endA creative marketer who understands social-first storytellingAnalytical and comfortable interpreting data to drive decisionsHighly organized with strong project management skillsExcited about marketplaces, commerce, sustainability, logistics, and/or interior designComfortable in a fast-paced, scrappy, startup environmentYou’ll have meaningful autonomy to bring new ideas and challenge how things are done — with the expectation that strong existing channels and learnings are respected, improved, and built upon.
