Whats the position?

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team building high-quality sports betting and casino gaming experiences. This role is for someone who combines strong manual QA craft with excellent technical troubleshooting, and who can go deep into API validation (Postman) and data validation (SQL) to quickly find root causes and prevent defects from reaching production.

 

What youll do

  • Participate in all stages of the SDLC, partnering with Product and Engineering to ensure quality from requirements to release.

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and execution strategies for complex features.

  • Perform deep API testing using Postman (integration, regression, exploratory) and validate request/response behaviour across environments.

  • Perform data validation and investigations using SQL to confirm correctness, integrity, and detect inconsistencies.

  • Identify, report and manage bugs with strong reproduction steps, clear impact assessment, and root cause-oriented troubleshooting.

  • Use tooling (DevTools + proxies) to investigate issues across Web/Mobile and integrations.

  • Act as a quality owner for selected modules/features: drive improvements, raise risks early, and influence release readiness.

  • Mentor junior QAs through reviews, pairing, and practical troubleshooting guidance.



What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years of professional QA experience in web and/or mobile applications (manual focus).

  • Strong hands-on Postman skills:

    building collections for multi-step flows

    using environments/variables effectively

    writing basic scripts/tests (pre-/post-request) is a plus

    ability to validate APIs beyond “happy path” (auth, edge cases, error handling)

  • Strong SQL skills for testing and troubleshooting:

    writing queries for data validation (joins, aggregations)

    ability to investigate inconsistencies across tables and identify suspicious patterns

  • Solid debugging mindset and experience with DevTools + proxy tools (Charles / Proxyman) to inspect traffic and isolate issues.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions under time pressure; ownership mentality.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience in sports betting and/or casino gaming domain.

  • Basic familiarity with automation (Python) or willingness to contribute in the future.

  • Experience working with microservices/integrations (understanding of common failure points).
