Job Description

As Senior Manager, Business Analysis within the Strategic Change function, you will lead a team of business analysts to deliver high-quality analysis across complex, cross-department initiatives.  You will ensure strategic change programmes are well-defined, customer-centric, and aligned to Product & Technology strategy and drive analytical excellence, consistent practices, and continuous improvement in business analysis across the department.

What you will do

Leadership & Line Management 

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of seven Business Analysts. 

• Set clear performance expectations and foster a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and continuous learning. 

• Manage resource allocation across multiple change initiatives, ensuring optimal utilisation and priority alignment. 

Business Analysis Delivery 

• Oversee end-to-end business analysis across complex, multi-team programmes within Product & Technology. 

• Ensure quality, consistency, and traceability of requirements, user stories, process maps, test case creation and business cases. 

• Champion data-driven and customer-centric discovery work, ensuring insights shape programme scope and solutions. 

• Provide hands-on support for high-risk / strategic initiatives when required. 

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership 

• Partner closely with the Head of Programmes to ensure alignment between programme delivery, scope, and business outcomes. 

• Work with Product, Technology, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure clear problem definition and solution alignment. 

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex needs into actionable analysis. 

Strategic Change Enablement 

• Lead or contribute to shaping business cases, benefits frameworks, and investment decisions. 

• Help embed consistent analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools across Product & Technology. 

Governance & Quality Assurance 

• Establish BA quality standards and ensure regular review, assurance, and audit of analysis deliverables. 

• Support programme governance, risk/issue management through clear analytical insight and traceability. 

• Ensure alignment with architectural, data, and product governance processes. 

Qualifications

• Do you have best-of-class business analysis experience?
• Are you able to manage requirements in response to changing circumstances to ensure & optimise business agility?
• Do you excel at managing business change?
• Do you possess outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills?
• Can you demonstrate strong customer focus and commercial acumen?
• Do you have Inception to Operations project experience as an Agile BA?
• Do you have experience in projects around digital, business change, or customer journey?
• Can you demonstrate deep understanding of IT software development?
