We are looking for an exceptional leader for introducing new products that support Palo Alto Partners, Distributors and Marketplaces. In this role, you will partner with various Palo Alto Networks partners, distributors, product, engineering and business stakeholders to introduce a portfolio of new products that support expansion of Palo Alto networks business via partners.In addition to your thought leadership and creativity, you will partner closely with IT Software Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales/Partner Operations, and Global Customer Support to ensure new features and products are robust and the experience for our partners and internal stakeholders is seamless. Having a software engineering background and experience supporting the channels or partner functions is critical for success in this challenging and rewarding role. Your ImpactDefine vision and strategy for partner facing products that support indirect sales motions.Partner with Channels GTM, Sales GTM, Product Management and engineering teams to develop products aligned with the product vision.Drive products from ideation to launchResponsible for defining and driving the business process, solution and writing of user stories which will translate into productsResponsible for IT product roadmap development and building excellent partnerships with various leaders within the companyPartner with business, product management and engineering to define requirements, develop functional specifications, and estimate delivery timelinesManage all aspects of the product life cycle including end-user feedback, requirements and issues.Analyze and evaluate product performance and make recommendationsManage business expectations, be proactive in planning for new offerings, and build excellent partnerships with various leaders within the company Mentor and grow junior product managersQualificationsYour Experience Strong 10-12+ Yrs of experience working as a Product Manager in high tech companyExtensive experience working with partners and distributors is a mustExperience driving innovate partner solutions using AIExperience creating mockups using lovable or similar toolsKnowledge and experience with Salesforce CRM, CPQ and Communities or equivalent is a must. Strong desire to take ownership of a set of new products and design capabilities to support indirect motionDrive to design something new, innovative, and disruptiveExperience with developing API’s for partners or customersExperience in developing solutions/products that integrate with different cloud service providers is a plusBachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience - Master’s degree preferredSoftware development background is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperlative collaboration mindset – this is a highly cross-functional roleA do-what-it-takes attitudeLocal in SF Bay Area Additional InformationThe Team[Input by recruiter and audited by recruiting specialist]Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $190,000 - $210,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
