We're looking for a remote, Senior iOS Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead a pod of 3-4 mobile developers. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of iOS development, and a passion for growing with a fast-paced startup.
Position Overview
As a Remote Senior iOS Engineer you will be responsible for leading a team of mobile developers, overseeing the design, coding, testing, and implementation of high-quality iOS applications. This role requires excellent technical abilities, leadership skills, and a knack for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a pod of 3-4 mobile developers in the design, coding, testing and implementation process of iOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Review code, provide feedback, and conduct regular team meetings to ensure quality and consistency.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in iOS development.
- React Native Certification and Apple Developer Certification are required.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, CircleCI/Jenkins, Redux/MobX, REST APIs, Flutter/Dart, Jest/Detox.
- Experience in leading a team of developers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in remote collaboration tools and practices.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with a home office setup and reliable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes Application Developer Certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with FinTech, mobile banking, and digital payments is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading successful mobile development projects from conception to launch.
