Learn more at www.coopersurgical.com.ResponsibilitiesJob Summary: As Senior Global Product Manager, IVF Equipment, you will be leading the portfolio strategy & roadmap, upstream marketing activities, lifecycle management, and global pricing strategy for our Micromanipulator, Laser Portfolio and, select support equipment . You will do this through in-depth analysis and understanding of IVF market trends, competitors, business- and customer needs. You will be reporting to the Global Product Director, IVF Equipment. This is a strategically important global role where you will use you extensive marketing toolbox and strong business acumen to ensure we maintain a competitive offering that maximizes short-term and long-term profitable growth. As key focus in the role, you will be driving critical commercial activities in new product innovation projects, including Voice-of Customer, User Needs and Business Cases, and working with the commercial marketing team to ensure impactful launches by solid go-to-market strategies. You will be working closely with marketing colleagues and commercial leaders to set the annual growth and downstream marketing agenda to improve adoption and market share for your portfolio in alignment with overall Fertility business strategy. To do this successfully, you demonstrate excellent cross-functional collaboration and networking with the global commercial teams and a broad range of internal stakeholders including R&D, Regulatory, Pricing, and Business Development. Being part of the global marketing team, you will be supported by your colleagues around the world. You will work in a dynamic environment with many activities going on at the same time, and travel is expected to be approximately 40-50 days per year. Essential Functions & Accountabilities: For your product lines, lead the portfolio strategies and roadmaps by in-depth analysis and knowledge of IVF market trends, competitors, and customer (unmet) needs. Plan & execute commercial activities in new product innovation projects and co-drive impactful launches with commercial marketing colleagues. Maintain a detailed understanding of the performance (financially and clinically) of your portfolio to ensure profitable growth and identify opportunities for improvements. Ownership for global pricing strategy of portfolio and annual price optimizations. Drive product lifecycle activities to streamline the portfolio and ensure it meets the company’s high-quality standards. Collaborate with global commercial leaders and marketing manager(s) to develop business growth initiatives for increased sales and market share. Support commercial marketing team in development of global marketing plans and tactics to drive increased adoption and awareness as well as initiatives to strengthen positioning and evidence supporting the value proposition. Travel: Travel internationally up to 20% (50 days) per year, conditional to business need.QualificationsQualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen Attention to details and organized, while ensuring progress to meet deadlines. Growth mindset with a proactive, agile approach and drive for results. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience leading upstream marketing activities (voice of customer, value proposition generation, business case development, go-to-market strategies) is a must. Understanding of commercial marketing initiatives (campaigns, go-to-market, segmentation & targeting) Strong interpersonal skills, great networking and collaborative behaviour Strong communication and presentation skills Experience in create compelling PowerPoint presentations and detailed financial analysis in Excel. Robust mindset and influential personality Scientific interest and technical understanding are essential. Knowledge from high-tech medical devices and/or in-vitro-fertilization (IVF) are considered key advantages. Team player but able to work independently effectively. Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Proven ability to run multiple tasks concurrently in a high-paced working environment and comfortable with sometimes short deadlines. Work Environment: On Site: Trumbull, CT Experience: A minimum of 6 years of overall marketing experience of which majority in product management (upstream marketing), preferably from medical devices or another highly regulated industry. Experience in developing and implementing global strategies is a strong advantage. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Business Administration, Marketing, or Science. Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.
