Solution Architect - Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Cleared - Secret)Location: Remote (US-based, DC Metro Area preferred). Possible in-person expectations include visits with customers, Salesforce offices, and to Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA.Employment Type: This is a contingent role based upon a successful bid award.Role Summary:Thunder is seeking a Federal Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Salesforce Public Sector solutions, with a primary focus on Marketing Cloud and Government Cloud Plus. You will serve as the primary technical authority, bridging mission requirements with technical execution while ensuring all solutions adhere to rigorous Federal security and compliance standards. You will work in close coordination with Federal Business Analysts and Technical Architects to ensure best-in-class outcomes for enterprise-level government agencies.Responsibilities:Lead Federal client architecture initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with mission-critical business strategies.Architect scalable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions within Government Cloud Plus environments, ensuring all designs comply with Federal security standards and best practices.Lead discovery workshops with cleared Federal stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate them into high-level functional specifications.Produce and oversee the creation of detailed architecture documentation, business process diagrams, and reusable assets to improve delivery efficiency.Stay updated on emerging Salesforce trends, including Agentforce and AI capabilities, to provide innovative solutions within secure government environments.Coordinate with delivery resources to assign work, mentor junior staff, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify solutions meet rigorous Federal requirements.Qualifications:4-6+ years of Salesforce consulting experience, specifically within large-scale Federal or enterprise environments.Significant experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, with exposure to CDP (Data 360), Datorama, and Interaction Studio.Deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem with advanced expertise in configuration, customization, and business process modeling. Proven working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Agentforce and Salesforce AI capabilities.Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level presentation skills. Strong strategic planning, governance, and organizational skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs in cleared delivery environments.US Citizenship required.Active Secret Security Clearance required.Bachelor's degree required.Required: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.Preferred: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) Specialist/Consultant and Salesforce AI Specialist.Why Thunder?
