The role leads defining portfolio strategy for the product line and represents the marketing function on the NPD team for development of product through stage gate process including development of business case, positioning, claims, messaging, branding, and launch the product.Product Managers are also responsible for assisting in developing and implementing marketing plans for assigned product lines, including developing materials and following processes required for product launches, product line maintenance, promotions and messaging, production planning, and field sales tools.
