Your Role: We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own the storytelling, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for K1x’s product portfolio. This role is a core member of the Product organization, reporting to the SVP of Product, and responsible for ensuring K1x’s products are clearly positioned, market-ready, and built with strong customer and market context. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, translating complex product capabilities and roadmap investments into clear value propositions, launch strategies, and adoption plans. The PMM partners closely with Product Managers to shape product strategy, inform prioritization, and ensure every release has a clear “why,” “for whom,” and “why it wins.” You will be responsible for defining how K1x’s products are positioned in the market, enabling Sales and Customer Success, and driving adoption of new capabilities such as AI-powered extraction, tax workflow analytics, integrations, and emerging data products. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in complex B2B SaaS, understands regulated or domain-heavy markets, and wants direct influence over product direction, not just downstream messaging. Product Strategy & Market Alignment Act as the market and customer voice within the Product organization Partner with Product Managers to: Define ICPs, personas, and use cases for new and existing capabilities Validate roadmap initiatives against customer pain points and market demand Influence product strategy across: K1 Aggregator®, K1 Reader®, K1 Creator®, 990 Tracker® AI-driven extraction, validation, and tax analytics workflows Product Positioning & Narrative Ownership Own product-level positioning and messaging, ensuring clarity and consistency across the platform Translate complex tax and AI workflows (K-1s, K-3s, 199A, UBTI, SALT, foreign forms) into differentiated value propositions Define and maintain: Product narratives Value frameworks “Why K1x wins” stories by persona and segment Product Launches & Lifecycle Management Lead end-to-end product launches in partnership with Product Management: Beta positioning, GA readiness, internal enablement, and adoption measurement Ensure every major release has: Clear target customers Defined success metrics Adoption and rollout strategy Support ongoing lifecycle management, including: Feature adoption analysis Packaging and bundling inputs Sunset or migration messaging when needed Go-To-Market & Cross-Functional Enablement Serve as the Product organization’s primary interface to: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations Develop core enablement assets: Product pitch decks and narratives Competitive positioning and battlecards Demo storylines aligned to real customer workflows Train internal teams on product value, use cases, and roadmap themes Market & Competitive Intelligence Own competitive analysis across legacy OCR tools, outsourced services, and emerging AI solutions Conduct win/loss analysis to inform roadmap adjustments and positioning refinements Customer Insight & Feedback Loops Establish tight feedback loops between: Customers Product Managers Customer Success and Support Leverage insights to: Influence roadmap prioritization Identify expansion and monetization opportunities Improve usability, clarity, and adoption of features Support creation of customer proof points and quantified ROI narratives Who You Are: Required 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS Experience marketing complex, workflow-driven or regulated products Experience in tax, accounting, fintech, regtech, or data platforms Proven success owning messaging, launches, and sales enablement Ability to translate technical or domain-heavy products into customer-centric narratives Strong cross-functional leadership skills (Product, Sales, CS, Execs) Preferred Familiarity with CPA firm workflows, tax software ecosystems, or financial reporting Experience supporting multiple products or platform-based portfolios Background in AI-powered or data-intensive SaaS products Unlimited Vacation Policy + Sick Time + HolidaysPaid Parental LeaveFully Remote OpportunityHealthcare Benefits and 401KGrowing Startup CultureJoin us at K1X and be part of a team that's transforming the alternative investments landscape through innovation and technology.
