Our founders were the creators of Apache Hadoop, Apache Atlas, and Uber Databook, and previously founded and IPO'd Hortonworks.We are on a mission to help every company realize the fullest potential of data through AI Agents, open-source, and unified metadata, by solving problems around data discovery, observability, and governance that current data catalogs and quality tools fail to address.As Product Marketing Lead, your mission is to craft compelling narratives about our products, develop go-to-market strategies, and serve as the bridge between our technical teams and our customers.What you'll be doingLead Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and distinguishes our solutions in the competitive landscapeStrengthen Sales Enablement: Build and deliver training programs, sales assets, objection handling guides, and competitive intelligence to equip sales teams for successful customer conversationsDrive Competitive Strategy: Lead competitive intelligence efforts, develop positioning against key competitors, create battle cards, and ensure sales teams understand how to effectively position against alternativesCreate High-Impact Content: Produce white papers, case studies, blog posts, presentations, website copy, videos, and other assets that articulate our value propositionDrive GTM & Partner Motions: Develop content and programs to support campaigns & key partnerships with reseller and technology vendors. Champion the Customer Voice: Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategiesWhat you bringExperience: 5+ years of product marketing experience in data, analytics, SaaS, or cloud technology, with a proven track record of successful product launchesTechnical Understanding: Strong grasp of data infrastructure, analytics, or related technologies with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefitsContent Creation: Exceptional writing and communication skills with experience creating diverse content types for technical and business audiencesStrategic Thinking: Ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunitiesCross-functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively across product, sales, engineering, and executive teamsCulture fit: Collaborative, supportive team player, who can independently drive projects and focus on the needs of our customers.
