We listen closely to our clients and continuously strive to improve our interactions and products; we live by the mantra “Hug the Customer”. THE OPPORTUNITYABI is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented, Associate Product Manager to gather business requirements and support the successful delivery of software solutions. This role bridges business needs, customer insights, and technical implementation, collaborating with engineering, customer success, and product teams to drive continuous product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. During the first 30-90 days, you will undergo product training, self-study, and internal shadowing to build industry expertise, culminating in knowledge evaluations.  The Associate Product Manager will report to the Product Director and will grow towards the Product Manager or Business Analyst roles. OUR EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS SHOW HOW MUCH WE VALUE OUR TEAM! Starting salary- $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experienceHybrid work schedule; 75% remote, 25% in office after initial training period MUST LIVE WITHIN a 30-mile radius Sacramento Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability, Accidental death/dismemberment, 401(k), and Life insuranceBenefit premiums for the employee on several health plans are paid 100% by the companyAfter one year of service, ABI will begin to pay a graduated schedule to cover the health premiums of all dependents over timeRESPONSIBILITIES Customer Feedback & Product StrategyDevelop a deep understanding of the product, industry, and customer needsGather and organize insights from users and stakeholders to influence product decisionsCollaborate with teams to enhance usability and customer satisfactionAssist in prioritizing and refining product backlogRequirements Gathering & DocumentationWork with stakeholders to define business problems and solutionsTranslate product needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and workflowsEngineering Collaboration & Development SupportAct as a liaison between business teams, engineering, and product managementSupport engineering, QA, and customer support in the development, testing, and deploymentClarify requirements and acceptance criteria throughout the development cycleBug Tracking, Quality Assurance & User TestingDocument and track reported issues for timely resolutionReview and test early-stage deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomesCoordinate testing and feedback with internal and external stakeholdersQUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience with ABI MasterMind(R) or similar workforce management, HR, ERP, or accounting solutionsBachelor's degree or equivalent technology certificationExperience gathering and documenting business requirementsPreferredExperience working with engineering teams on software development3+ years in business analysis or product managementSkills & AbilitiesStrong technical writing, communication, and stakeholder managementAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Azure DevOps, Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), or similar tools; and Microsoft Office Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWe look forward to connecting and learning more about you!
