This role requires deep industry expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative payment products. Successful candidates will provide leading contributions to the enhancement of a strategic Product in FreedomPay’s platform. As an ambassador for the Product internally and externally, the candidate will have extensive experience in the industry to be able to articulate how our Product compares and excels versus other solutions in the market with direct influence on the roadmap through regular Executive engagement, candidates will be confident and empathetic in presenting detailed plans for Product enhancements to articulate how delivery will meet business and platform goals. Primary Job Responsibilities Foster strong relationships and trust with connected partners (e.g., processors, acquirers, card schemes) to ensure our Product grows with the payment industry Create, plan and prioritize Product Request backlog with Product Owners according to business value or ROI Oversee the planning of Product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new features and functionality Lead a team of Product Owners and oversee the development lifecycle to ensure targets are met Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals Regularly present product requirements for review and assessment to our Executive Team and other relevant stakeholders Build and maintain a 6-12 month roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy Support our Sales Engineering & Product Marketing with creation and refinement of materials that illustrate and demonstrate product capabilities Own and refine standards for processor/acquirer connectivity Strategize with internal stakeholders to advance the payment gateway capabilities globally Secondary Job Responsibilities Contribute to product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities Drive process across the organization to ensure that requirements well-defined and reduce scope creep later in the development cycle Work with compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met (e.g., PCI DSS, 3DS, GDPR) Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform decision-making Attend QBRs and client meetings as needed to present on current and future product capabilities Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in product The Product Manager role is constantly evolving with the exciting growth of FreedomPay and candidates should expect that responsibilities will go beyond the Primary Responsibilities listed above. Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Systems, SoftwareEngineeringor similar relevant field 5+ years working at a payment gateway, merchant service acquirer, or payment processor 2-5 years Working as a technical SME for gateway or integrated platform solutions Experience presenting to decision making stakeholders  Preferred Experience MSc or MA in Computing, Information Systems, or similar relevant field Working at an omnichannel gateway 2+ years working as a Product Manager Working with Azure DevOps Setting up process flows in either product or operational organizations Leading a Product team or team of technical SMEs Experience presenting to C-Suite or Executive Team Required Skills Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills Excellent prioritization, organizational and time management skills Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Self-starter that can drive work to completion In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles  Thirst for knowledge and understanding of the Payments Industry  Preferred Skills Knowledge of global payment industry trends Knowledge of regional variations on payment culture and habits e.g., Local Debit and Alternative Payment Methods Go-getter mentality that utilizes creative problem-solving to unblock or overcome issues Ability to champion payments as a leader and teacher within the business As the fastest growing commerce company in the industry, we offer the opportunity for tremendous upward mobility within the company as well as development and professional growth opportunities.
