The Product Manager will drive innovation in electric vehicle charging solutions while balancing market demands, technical feasibility, and business objectives. Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams, this role translates customer needs and market trends into competitive product offerings that advance clean transportation infrastructure while delivering revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This is primarily office-based work with occasional travel to customer sites and industry events.This position will be based in-person in our Chandler, AZ office.The hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $126,000Core Functions  Product Strategy Development: Define and execute EVSE product roadmapStrategic planning and execution of the product vision for EV charging solutions aligned with company growth targets.Market & Customer Intelligence: Identify market opportunities and translate into product requirementsContinuous analysis of the EV charging market to identify emerging needs and competitive positioning.Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate across departments to deliver successful productsEffective coordination between engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure successful product development and launch.Product Lifecycle Management: Guide products from concept through market introduction and beyondEnd-to-end management of product development processes, from ideation to market introduction and continuous improvement.Business Case Development: Ensure commercial viability of EVSE solutionsFinancial analysis and business case development for new product initiatives and existing product enhancements.Job Duties Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap for EVSE solutions based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectivesGather and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders including customers, sales, and technical teamsDefine product specifications and work closely with engineering to ensure successful developmentCreate compelling business cases for new product initiatives and secure executive approvalCollaborate with marketing to develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for EVSE productsWork with sales teams to communicate product value propositions and support customer engagementAnalyze market dynamics, including competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and emerging technologiesMonitor product performance metrics and implement improvements to drive growth and customer satisfactionStay current on EV charging standards, protocols, and industry developmentsLead cross-functional teams through product development milestones and launch readinessDevelop pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness with profitability goalsConduct regular voice-of-customer research to inform product decisionsProactively identify opportunities to enhance existing products and expand the EVSE portfolioDrive forward-thinking initiatives that anticipate industry trends in electric vehicle infrastructureOther duties as assignedRequirementsExperience with electric vehicle charging infrastructureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong strategic thinking and analytical capabilitiesDemonstrated product management expertise with technical productsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business valueExcellent cross-functional leadership and influence skillsStrong project management abilitiesData-driven decision-making approachAbility to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projectsCustomer-centric mindset with focus on solving real user problemsProficient with product management tools and methodologiesKnowledge of product development processesProactive and independent with the ability to take initiativeForward-thinking mindset with the ability to identify emerging technologies and innovative solutions in EV chargingA valid, insurable driver's license is required.PEC is not able to provide sponsorship for work visas.
