This position plays a pivotal role within the Technical Operations team, partnering closely with business groups and technical teams to assess analytics and reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with Global Distribution business teamsLearn how our content is created, marketed, and distributed worldwide and serve as the subject matter expert on the systems and data that enable these processesLearn the KPIs that drive the business and identify opportunities to use and analyze data to improve their decision-making processOwn the product vision and roadmap for the reporting and analytics systemsEngage with business stakeholders to define and prioritize new project requestsLead discovery and design sessions, documenting functional requirements and technical specificationsPartner with enterprise product and engineering teams to create reporting solutions and advanced analytics products that enable business insightsOversee business and technical analysts by reviewing solution designs and ensuring deliverables align with business requirementsManage the reporting and analytics application landscape, acting as the primary escalation point for day-to-day operational activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining medium-to-large-scale data warehouses with at least 3 years in a lead role4+ years of experience in a reporting and analytics role that engages directly with business stakeholdersExtensive hands-on experience with a broad range of business intelligence technologies, including traditional data discovery and reporting tools, databases, ELT processes, and machine learning platformsStrong knowledge of data architecture including a foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalization, and dimensional data modellingUnderstanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with integrating into traditional hosting modelsStrong SQL skills with hands-on experience in writing complex queries involving multi-table joins and advanced analytical functionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize input from diverse sources and deliver clear, technically sound recommendations that inform key architectural and business decisionsWorking knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or TableauUnderstanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and WaterfallExcellent written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organizationDesired Characteristics:Experience in the global Media & Entertainment industryExperience/interest in learning and implementing new analytics technologiesExperience with AI or machine learning platformsDemonstrate ability to collaborate with teams across multiple territories and time zonesExperience with Finance platforms/ERP systems and associated reporting and analytics tools.Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering results under pressure and tight deadlines.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience operating effectively in matrix-managed organizations.Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains, fostering an environment of sharing learnings and knowledge back and forth.Self-directed and accountable, demonstrating high integrity, ownership, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Excellent time-management, planning, and organizational skills with a consistent results-driven mindset.Effective communicator, able to share information clearly and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.Quick learner with strong attention to detail and the ability to connect tactical execution to broader business objectives.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.Additional Requirements:Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
