Learn more at tandemdiabetes.comA DAY IN THE LIFE:The Product Manager (PM) role in Product Marketing is a cross-functional leader within the organization and the primary owner and expert of the associated product lines and related portfolios. This role leads the product planning, management, and marketing initiatives to provide users with best-in-class products and experiences.  The PM serves as the primary commercial interface with all functional areas within the organization as well as external strategic partners for respective products. The PM works to identify, create and execute marketing programs and initiatives focused on driving increased engagement, efficiencies, and sales growth throughout the organization.Product Managers at Tandem are also responsible for:Drives and owns the Go to Market strategy for new product launches.Develops and executes launch plans, including supporting sales enablement tools, promotional campaigns, training materials & customer education.Partners with upstream product managers, channel marketing, clinical, field teams and sales training to align marketing strategy with broader business goals.Supports post-launch product lifecycle planning.Responsible for establishing, driving, and executing the strategic direction and related initiatives of assigned product lines, while participating in and influencing the overall strategic direction of the company portfolio.Translates market research and knowledge into product and customer requirements in collaboration with strategic marketing counterparts to guide products throughout the development cycle.Acquires, analyzes and acts on market research information.Influences the product development process by translating VOC into product requirements.Develops and tracks KPIs related to downstream commercial efforts.Acts as internal and external champion of assigned product line(s).Participates in cross-functional teams in the product development process; primarily focused on product definition relative to customer needs and market opportunities.Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:BS/BA degree business, health sciences, or related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.5+ years of related experience in medical device development process, product management, marketing, sales, or clinical support.Experience in diabetes and/or consumer medical devices preferred.Strong grasp of downstream marketing tactics: market segmentation, sales enablement, segmentation, positioning, messaging, etc.Solid understanding of medical technology and ability to learn and articulate clinical benefits of complex products.Understanding of customer journey in healthcare, including clinician workflows and payer/reimbursement landscapes.Skilled in translating market research into product and customer requirements.Excellent verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and simplifying topicsComfortable presenting to both internal and external audiencesSkilled at creating a cooperative team environment.Able to objectively evaluate situations and make recommendations for changes in light of project demands.Familiarity with FDA-regulated products and applicable marketing guidelines.WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:Remote: This position is fully remote and open to candidates within the United States. Equipment for the role will be provided and training will occur virtually. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market.
