As a company founded by a Veteran and staffed by many Veterans and families of Veterans, VBG is committed to advocating for policies that protect the rights and interests of former service members.Who we’re looking for: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to support the strategy, development, and optimization of our Salesforce CRM platform. This role will focus on improving the effectiveness of our enterprise systems to enhance business operations and deliver better experiences for employees and partners.As a key member of the Product team, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of enhancements within Salesforce. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will gain exposure to the full product lifecycle while contributing to meaningful platform improvements. Requirements  Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Product Strategy & PlanningContribute to product roadmaps and planning in alignment with stakeholder needs and company objectivesTranslate user and business input into actionable product features and user storiesHelp define success metrics and evaluate product performance against goalsProduct Development & DeliveryCollaborate with developers, QA, and technical partners to deliver enhancementsManage and refine the product backlog, write user stories, and participate in sprint planning and reviewsAssist with UAT coordination, release readiness, and post-launch validationSupport knowledge transfer and documentation for internal users and support teamsStakeholder EngagementAssist with requirements gathering and validation with internal stakeholdersCommunicate updates, timelines, and priorities clearly across business and technical groupsParticipate in product demos and feedback sessions to ensure solutions meet expectationsUser Experience & ResearchSupport a user-first approach by gathering and integrating feedback from Salesforce usersCollaborate with design and technical resources to ensure workflows are intuitive and efficientAssist with adoption initiatives, including training and support resourcesProduct Analytics & OptimizationMonitor usage of Salesforce features and dashboards to identify opportunities for improvementAssist in tracking KPIs such as adoption, data quality, and process efficiencyHelp triage and resolve Salesforce-related issues in partnership with technical teamsQualifications or Competencies:1–3 years of experience in product management, Salesforce, business analysis, or related rolesFamiliarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud are a plusUnderstanding of Agile practices and product delivery lifecycleExperience writing user stories and managing backlogs in tools like JIRA or ConfluenceStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teamsExposure to UX principles, stakeholder engagement, and basic reporting/analyticsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferredEquivalent work experience will also be considered  EEO:Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG) provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), gender (including gender identity and gender expression) genetic characteristic, sexual orientation, registered domestic partner status, age, military or veteran status, hairstyle or hair texture, reproductive health decision making, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
