About the role:

The Product Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable insights across Sportsbook, Casino, and Platform products. This role supports Product Owners, Engineering, Design, QA, and Managed Services by defining KPIs, validating feature performance, monitoring user behavior, and driving data-informed decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
The analyst ensures that every initiative is measurable, instrumented correctly, and optimized post-launch

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Product Performance & Insights

• Own end-to-end analytics for assigned product areas (Sports, Casino, Platform, etc.).


• Build and maintain key product dashboards (GA4, BigQuery, FullStory, eazyBI, BI tools).


• Define KPIs, funnels, and success metrics for new features, experiments, and product improvements.


• Identify friction points, drop-offs, and revenue opportunities across user journeys.


• Provide insights that influence product roadmaps and backlog prioritization.


• Monitor Product Health indicators and alert stakeholders on anomalies, degradations, or unexpected behavioral changes impacting conversion, engagement, or revenue


• Lead post-launch monitoring for new product features, ensuring KPIs, funnels, and tracking perform as expected in production environments.


• Detect early-stage performance risks after releases and provide rapid feedback loops to Product and Engineering teams

Event Tracking & Instrumentation

• Work with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA to define detailed tracking plans.


• Create event schemas: naming conventions, parameters, user properties, and data layer specs.


• Validate analytics implementation across environments (Dev, Stage, Prod).


• Ensure data quality: duplicate events, sampling issues, missing parameters, compliance constraints.

Experimentation & A/B Testing

• Define hypotheses, success metrics, experiment design, and sample-size requirements.


• Monitor the performance of A/B tests (registration variants, casino UI, funnels, banners, personalized flows).


• Interpret experiment results and provide clear recommendations.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Closely collaborating with Product Owners and Product Managers by joining Discovery, Scoping, Tech Planning, UAT, Release, and Post-Launch cycles.


• Act as a subject-matter expert on player behavior analytics.


• Translate business questions into quantifiable analysis and clear recommendations.


• Collaborate closely with BI, Engineering, CRM, Compliance, and Managed Services.


• Support product launches by preparing launch monitoring plans, defining success criteria, and validating readiness of analytics before release

Reporting & Communication

• Produce concise insights for stakeholders, including summaries for management.


• Deliver product performance snapshots and ad-hoc deep-dives.


• Present analysis in a clear, story-driven format that guides decisions

Who You Are:

Analytical

• Strong understanding of funnels, segmentation, retention, LTV, and behavioral analytics.


• Ability to translate vague business problems into precise analytical questions.


• Experience evaluating product performance: registration, deposits, sportsbook turnover, casino engagement.


• Skilled in identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes.

Technical

• Strong understanding with GA4 + BigQuery (event modeling, funnels, parameter analysis).


• Experience with product analytics tools: FullStory, Hotjar/Clarity, Heap, Amplitude (advantage).


• Proficiency in SQL.


• Experience with experimentation tools (AB Tasty, Optimizely, Webtrends Optimize, etc.).


• Ability to define and validate tracking implementations (GTM, data layers, app events).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills — ability to influence without authority.


• Strong stakeholder management, especially when supporting multiple Product Owners.


• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.


• Detail-oriented and highly structured.

Bonus Points:

• iGaming experience (Sportsbook, Casino, Regulated Markets).


• Understanding of compliance constraints (Ontario AGCO, MGA, UKGC).


• Experience with dashboards in Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or eazyBI (JIRA analytics).


• Familiarity with UX research or digital product design.
