Network Engineer
Job responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including:
- Cisco Routers and Switches
- Cisco Firewalls (ASA, Firepower)
- Dell Switches
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot Layer 3 routing protocols:
- EIGRP, OSPF (single-area and multi-area), BGP
- IPv4 routing and route redistribution solutions
- Implement and support First Hop Redundancy Protocols:
- HSRP, VRRP
- Design and implement VLAN-based network solutions according to network designs and business requirements
- Implement High Availability (HA) solutions based on network design and operational requirements
- Design and deploy EIGRP- and BGP-based routing solutions from the provided network designs
- Design and implement multi-area OSPF networks based on given requirements
- Troubleshoot and maintain switch-to-switch connectivity
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Dell networking equipment
- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching technologies
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex enterprise networks
- Solid understanding of High Availability and redundancy architectures
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical network systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
