Marketing Project Manager (Development)Work Location:Remote - USASchedule:Full timeTo advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will provide project management and operational leadership to the Marketing Department, including managing national marketing projects and facilitating systems to reach Marketing’s goals of resourcing the mission of InterVarsity. This marketing professional will contribute excellent project management skills and draw on their marketing experience to help accelerate InterVarsity’s marketing program.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESPersonal:Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture, and God's purposes in the worldModel biblical discipleship through all of lifeProvide project management and leadership for marketing projects:Coordinate and monitor campaigns and projects to support the department’s goals, objectives, and missionDelegate appropriate tasks and manage project production accordinglySet agendas for project meetings, ensure objectives are met efficiently and effectively, and that next steps and tasks are managed and monitoredEnsure successful completion and excellent project delivery that is on-time, on-scope, on-budget, and with complete documentationAct as “air traffic control” for Marketing business processes to ensure cross-departmental coordination, appropriate change management, and process improvement both within department and in collaboration with other departments and vendors Contribute to the effectiveness of InterVarsity’s marketing program:Track marketing campaign metrics and gather critical analytics to prepare and provide reports as requestedContribute to relationship maintenance of key stakeholdersOversee meeting coordination and scheduling as necessaryManage miscellaneous functions of the Marketing team as necessary including but not limited to:Organizing campaign and vendor filesResearching and gathering necessary resources for marketing projectsProcessing vendor contracts and payments as directedCollaborate successfully within the Marketing Team and with other departmentsStay current with software InterVarsity uses to support the above functionsAttend various conferences and other events/projects as assigned Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trendsDevelop and maintain a funding base:Raise an agreed upon amount of personal financial supportDevelop and maintain a personal support team for prayer and financial support through visits, phone calls, and regular prayer lettersQUALIFICATIONSAnnually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith and Code of ConductBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Management preferred1-2 years of professional project management or marketing experience required; three or more years strongly desiredDemonstrated commitment to dependability and able to travel periodically to InterVarsity meetings as well as InterVarsity’s National Service Center (Madison, WI) if working remotelyPrior experience with InterVarsity or other campus ministry is highly desirableA working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is requiredPreferred working knowledge:Email Marketing Automation systems (Mailchimp, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, etc.)Salesforce or a similar CRMWrike or similar project management softwareSocial media platformsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and filesAbility to take charge of tasks and work independently without close supervisionAbility to develop procedures for doing workAbility to work under the pressure of deadlinesDemonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environmentPay Range: $50,772.00 - $67,680.00 per yearBenefits:We offer a competitive benefits package, including health care and retirement savings with a match.
