This role is focused on hands-on execution and coordination across email marketing, event marketing, social media, and content updates, working within well-established processes and tools.The position is intentionally scoped at a junior to early-career level. It will start in January to allow sufficient onboarding and training and is expected to continue through mid-August to support coverage during the leave and transition back.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Marketing Execution (Primary Focus)Support end-to-end execution of marketing activities for Phocuswright events (U.S. and Europe), including:Promotional and attendee emailsContent updates on event websitesEvent platform management (e.g., Swapcard)Social media posts supporting event promotion and attendee communicationCoordination with internal teams to ensure accuracy, timing, and executionResearch & PhocusWire Promotion Support research and PhocusWire content promotion via social mediaAssist with content accuracy, scheduling, and basic quality controlCoordinate periodic research subscriber communications Phocuswright Brand Email MarketingBuild, test, schedule, and deploy weekly Phocuswright brand emails, encompassing:EventsResearchNews and editorial contentPerform QA and post-send checks to ensure accurate and timely deliveryCoordinate inputs (copy, links, assets) with internal stakeholdersHow This Role WorksFocuses on execution and coordination, not strategy ownershipOperates within existing processes, templates, and workflowsReceives training, guidance, and clear prioritization from the teamPlays a key role in keeping marketing operations running smoothly during a high-activity periodQualifications & Experience1–3 years of experience (or strong internships) in marketing, communications, or a related fieldInterest in events, email marketing, social media, and content operationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlinesClear written communication skillsFamiliarity with tools such as Pardot, CMSs, social media scheduling tools, or event platforms is a plus, but not requiredRole DetailsType: Temporary role Timing: January – mid-August (includes onboarding and transition support)Compensation: $5,000 per monthLocation: Remote-friendly, Candidate must be able to work primarily in the U.S. East Coast time zoneTo Join Our Team:Northstar Travel Group is a great place to work, learn and grow.
