The Marketing Manager develops marketing programs that build brand awareness, attract new customers, drive growth of existing customers, and foster customer retention through an engaging buyer journey while ensuring alignment to Patterson business objectives. With a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, this role develops push and pull integrated marketing campaigns leveraging digital and direct channels that are creatively developed in collaboration with graphic designers.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request a reasonable accommodation, notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position.Plan, develop (including copywrite) and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans to promote the assigned segment/categoryWork closely with the Sales Manager to identify targeted product growth opportunitiesDevelop relevant messaging and offers to engage these target segments to purchaseDevelop customer-facing tools to enable Dolphin’s field-based sales organization to close deals and deliver profitable growthWork with Multimedia Design Specialist to develop engaging optimized web content to support the customer journey and deliver qualified leadsAssist with process improvement projects to streamline current approachesUnderstand target customer pain points and what is valued through voice of customer researchStay current on market trends, best practices and the competitive landscape, adapting strategies to changing business conditionsAttend external networking/ learning events to ensure awareness of marketing advancementsManage and develop direct reportsPerform other Marketing Manager duties as assignedJob QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related fieldAt least 5 years of Marketing/Communications experience requiredUnderstanding of digital and direct marketing tactics (SEO/SEM, email, direct mail)Proven ability to develop and execute an annual integrated marketing campaign calendarExperience meeting project deadlines and achieve KPI goals while delivering positive ROIAppreciation for and understanding of various marketing technologies e.g. marketing automationStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenConfident, outgoing, detail-oriented self-starterCurious with a drive to achieve results and develop /sharpen marketing skillsTeam player who can function independently and thrives in team collaborationAbility to prioritize multiple deadlinesAbility to adapt quickly to shifting prioritiesExcellent organization and project management skillsWorking ConditionsPhysical DemandsOperating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workdayMay occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipmentMust be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writingMust be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others such as coworkers, customers and vendorsMust be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documentsEnvironmental FactorsThis position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building.
