Our distributed team is made up of climate-minded technologists, strategists, and operators committed to making climate action a no-brainer for everyone.We combine proprietary software with industry expertise to guide commercial real estate owners and operators through their decarbonization journey, starting with evaluation of their portfolios and culminating in transactions through our clean energy marketplace.About the role:We are looking for a Marketing Lead to own and scale Station A’s marketing engine! This role sits at the intersection of strategy, systems, and storytelling. You will be responsible for generating raised hands, improving sales conversion through brand awareness, and building a credible, consistent market presence for Station A. You will own HubSpot for marketing, lead content strategy and execution, and work closely with sales, product, and leadership to ensure marketing is tightly aligned to revenue and real buyer needs. This is a hands-on role. You will both do the work and define the system.Responsibilities:Marketing strategy & ownershipOwn Station A’s marketing strategy end-to-end, aligned tightly with revenue goalsTranslate company priorities into focused campaigns and initiativesPartner closely with sales, product, and leadership to stay grounded in realityHubspot & marketing operationsOwn HubSpot for marketing: setup, hygiene, segmentation, workflows, and reportingDefine and manage MQL logic, lead scoring, lifecycle stages, and suppression rulesBuild and maintain nurture campaigns tied to real buyer intentEnsure clean handoffs between marketing and salesUse data to continuously improve conversion at each stage of the funnelContent & editorial leadershipOwn the editorial calendar across:Industry thought leadershipProduct and solution marketingData-driven storytelling and insightsWrite and/or edit core content assets, including:Blog posts and long-form articlesCase studies and customer storiesWebsite and landing page copyGated content (guides, reports, briefs)Ensure content is opinionated, specific, and grounded in real executionData-driven storytellingTurn Station A’s platform, bid, and project data into compelling narrativesDevelop insight-led content (e.g. “What 100 RFPs tell us about onsite solar pricing”)Work with internal teams to surface patterns, learnings, and proof pointsBalance credibility with clarity — no fluff, no jargonCampaigns & distributionPlan and execute integrated campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channelsSupport events, conferences, partnerships, and webinars with strong messagingCollaborate with demand gen partners where relevant, without losing strategic controlEnsure distribution is intentional and audience-specific 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in climate, energy, SaaS, or marketplacesDeep proficiency with HubSpot for marketing (not just email blasts)Strong writer with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and confidentlyExperience owning an editorial calendar and shipping content consistentlyComfort working cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadershipData-literate and comfortable tying marketing work to business outcomesStrong plusesExperience marketing to enterprise or multi-stakeholder buyersFamiliarity with clean energy, real estate, infrastructure, or ESG-adjacent marketsExperience with product marketing and category creationAbility to turn raw data into insights and narrativesPrior experience in a high-growth startup environment We’re committed to supporting a healthy, sustainable life in and outside of work. The annual base salary for this role is $87k - $104k depending on your location.
