Marketing Intern

JOB OVERVIEW:This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department. The assignments are related to the academic major and the degree of the Intern.  The assignments may include conducting research.  As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Works with leadership to coordinate efforts and resolve issues.Works with the department prioritizing work assignments and act as a liaison with other departments.Performs a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  Marketing specific studies.GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:  Good time managementAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to plan and arrange activitiesInterpersonal communication skillsGood verbal and written skillsAbility to maintain confidential and highly sensitive informationAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to multi-taskWORK EXPERIENCE:  No experience required.PREFERRED EDUCATION:  Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can receive $18.
