About the Role As our Events Marketing Manager, you'll own the full lifecycle of our events program, from the first spark of an idea to the final post-event report. That means leading early-stage planning: setting objectives, defining the audience, scoping budgets, and building timelines that keep every stakeholder aligned. You'll source and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, AV teams, and travel partners, and run the show on the ground when it matters most. You'll work closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Sales to ensure every event generates pipeline, by driving brand awareness, refining lead capture processes, briefing Sales on priority targets, and handing off qualified contacts with the context they need to follow up fast. What You'll Do Events You'll Own from Start to Finish Trade shows & industry conferences and major eventsi.e., AWS re:Invent, RSA, KubeCon, and VMware Explore; booth logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, staffing, lead capture, and pre/post-show campaigns, onsite managementCurated small-group dinners for prospects and customers; invitation lists, venue, catering, and guest experienceWebinars & virtual events - Customer roundtables, thought leadership panels, and on-demand virtual experiencesVIP customer programs - Advisory boards, exclusive briefings, and retention-focused hospitalityField marketing events - Regional meetups, happy hours, and co-hosted partner eventsEmployee events - Team offsites/all-hands, and milestone celebrations which may be in person or virtualAdditional events as they arise Responsibilities Own the annual events calendar and budget across all event typesSource, negotiate, and manage vendors, venues, and AV partnersCollaborate with Sales and Demand Gen on pipeline goals for each eventManage logistics end-to-end: registration, travel, swag, and on-site operationsTrack post-event ROI, attendance metrics, and pipeline influencedPartner with Marketing on speaker prep, session topics, and follow-upLead event debriefs and continuously improve the event playbook What We're Looking For 5+ years of B2B events experience in SaaS or cloud/techProven track record managing trade show presence at scaleExperience planning executive and VIP experiences end-to-endStrong project management skills - you keep 12 balls in the airComfortable with event tech: CRM, landing page and registration creation, lead sharing, and other similar marketing toolsData-driven mindset with experience tying events to pipeline outcomesHigh urgency, ownership mentality, and bias for actionOccasional travel required (est. 20–30%) How You Work Our five core values aren't words on a wall.
