Visit our website to see current office locations.Position SummaryAdams Brown is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead the firm’s marketing strategy, team and day-to-day priorities. This is an important leadership role focused on helping the firm grow strategically across key industries, services and markets.The right person for this role is a practical, growth-minded marketing leader who can see the big picture and still understand the details. They should be comfortable working with firm leadership, guiding Marketing Growth Managers, managing a team and helping the firm focus its marketing efforts on the industries, services and markets with the strongest opportunity.The Marketing Director will bring structure, direction and accountability to the firm’s marketing efforts while helping align marketing initiatives with firmwide business goals. This role works closely with partners, niche leaders and executive leadership to prioritize opportunities, support business development efforts and strengthen the firm’s overall marketing effectiveness.This role can be located in any of our office locations, to see office locations please visit https://www.adamsbrowncpa.com/about/locations/.FLSA Status: ExemptRequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing LeadershipLead the development and execution of Adams Brown’s marketing strategy and annual growth initiativesPartner with executive leadership, partners and niche leaders to align marketing priorities with firm growth goalsHelp identify which industries, services and geographic markets offer the strongest growth opportunitiesEstablish KPIs and reporting processes to measure marketing effectiveness and recommend strategic adjustmentsOversee the marketing and business development budget, ensuring strong resource allocation and ROIParticipate in leadership discussions related to firm growth, market opportunities and marketing prioritiesBring strategic recommendations to leadership, not simply execute requestsThis person will help answer questions such as:Where should the firm focus its marketing time and budget?Which industries and services have the strongest growth opportunities?What campaigns, events and digital efforts will best support firm goals?What should marketing stop doing, start doing or improve?Marketing Planning & Team LeadershipLead and mentor the marketing team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvementProvide leadership and direction to Marketing Growth Managers and support consistent planning processes across the firmCreate a standardized framework for industry and service-line marketing plansReview marketing plans to ensure they are focused, measurable and aligned with firm strategyWork closely with Marketing Growth Managers, niche leaders and partners to develop and execute growth-focused marketing plansBuild strong cross-functional relationships across marketing, business development and client-serving teamsHelp prioritize marketing resources based on firm goals, market opportunities and team capacityMarketing Strategy & ExecutionOversee the firm’s digital marketing strategy, including website management, SEO and conversion optimizationEnsure effective use of CRM, marketing automation and analytics platforms to support reporting and campaign executionSupport content and campaign initiatives that align with firm growth priorities and business development effortsGuide marketing messaging and positioning to support targeted industries, services and growth initiativesOversee campaign planning and execution across digital, email, events and other marketing channelsEvaluate marketing performance and recommend improvements based on data and resultsSales Enablement & Business Development SupportOwn and optimize the firm’s client, prospect and referral databasesLead the pipeline management process and support winning proposal developmentCollaborate with practitioners and firm leaders to equip teams with messaging, materials and tools that support growth effortsHelp improve lead tracking, reporting and follow-up processes across the firmSupport business development initiatives through strategic marketing planning and coordinationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in professional services or B2B environmentsExperience leading strategic marketing planning and growth initiativesStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work effectively with executives, partners and cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, analytics and marketing automation toolsExcellent communication, organizational and project management skillsData-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionSuccess in This RoleSuccessful candidates will:Bring clarity and focus to the firm’s marketing prioritiesHelp align marketing investments with measurable growth opportunitiesImprove consistency and accountability across marketing planning and executionStrengthen collaboration between marketing, leadership and business development teamsHelp marketing become a stronger driver of firm growthWorking ConditionsAdamsBrown, LLC promotes a flexible work environment with a deep commitment to technology and modern work arrangements.
