Metrum Research Group is seeking an experienced and creative Marketing and Content Manager to take the lead on strategic marketing and content initiatives for our Quantitative Sciences (QS) unit. The Marketing and Content Manager will successfully plan and implement MetrumRG’s marketing and content strategies with a focus in our Quantitative Sciences (QS) unit. This hands-on role will work in close partnership with leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other commercial team members to generate leads and build upon the company’s brand. Responsibilities Marketing strategy and implementationWork with company leadership to develop and implement overall marketing strategy for QS service offerings within the guidelines of the mission of the company Manage and maintain company websiteEnsure site is working properly and content is up to dateLead redesign/refresh project and oversee vendor activitiesWork closely with the QS Business Development team to conduct marketing activities aligned with sales strategies and objectivesDesign and execute lead generation strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and new business opportunities across service linesContribute to the development and execution of account based marketing (ABM) tacticsDevelop marketing collateral (explainer videos, case studies, FAQs, capabilities presentations, etc)Develop and execute data-driven digital campaigns, optimizing performance through A/B testing, segmentation, and behavioral insightsTrack and communicate to leadership engagement metrics such as MQLs and conversion rates across content, email, and events to inform future strategiesServe as internal expert for marketing tools:Hubspot Marketing HubHubspot and Wordpress CMSZoomInfo CanvaEnsure MetrumRG branding is consistent across all channels and mediaManage MetrumRG company-wide brand style guide and social media policyUnderstand target markets and positioning and participate in building strategies to reach each marketIdentify and communicate opportunities to cross-sell services/products with TechSolutionsManage and maintain annual company marketing budget Manage social media accounts, company newsletters, blog, etcManage LinkedIn strategy and work with SMEs to elevate visibility and attract attention from key contacts in target organizationsWork with external design team to develop logos, graphics, webpages, etcAs needed, coordinate with external PR agency to extend reach and gain additional press coverage of MetrumRG’s social impact and thought leadershipEvent ManagementLead event logistics and represent MetrumRG at key conferences and scientific meetingsPlan and manage all conference exhibits, sponsorship, and branding activities Secure exhibit space and all materials neededSelect optimal placement of exhibits and meeting spaces to support BD team objectivesSecure key sponsorships to strategically draw new customers Manage conference activity tracking & promotionCoordinate special events at scientific meetings and industry conferences (ex. invite only roundtables, trainings)Capture key takeaways, prospect feedback, and interest patterns to inform future engagementContent development Work with SMEs, Leadership, and Business Development to develop compelling, timely, high-impact written content across multiple channels including blog posts, social media, email campaigns, website copy, and marketing collateral that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectivesManage full content creation process from ideation (with SMEs) to publication and performance trackingCollaborate with SMEs to create integrated content strategies that support lead generation and customer engagement goalsPlan campaigns and themed thought leadership series to nurture relationships with key stakeholdersResearch industry trends, competitor content, and target audience preferences to inform content creation and ensure relevance and competitive positioningOptimize content for SEO by conducting keyword research, implementing best practices, and analyzing performance metrics to improve search visibility and organic trafficManage content calendars and editorial schedules to ensure consistent publishing cadence and timely delivery of marketing campaignsEdit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency while maintaining high editorial standards across all deliverables Requirements, Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFluency in the use ofHubspot Marketing HubHubspot and Wordpress CMSZoomInfo GTM platformCanva, Adobe Creative Suite, or and other design toolsSocial media outlets (LinkedIn, Twitter)Outstanding organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environmentStrong writing and editing skills with portfolio demonstrating ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences and formatsUnderstanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and content optimization techniques to drive organic search performanceDemonstrated evidence of working with others to complete team-level tasks on time.Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to measure content performance and provide actionable insights for optimization Education and Experience 5-8 years experience in a hands on marketing role (Life Science, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical industry preferred)4-year degree or higher in communications, marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience Physical Demands The job frequently requires working at a computer terminal, standing or sitting, and the ability to operate the computer with proficiency.
