Do you want real responsibility, meaningful work, and mentorship?Canada Homestay Network (CHN) is looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator to help us support CHN’s business units, our international students, and the host families who welcome them. This is a permanent full-time (40hrs a week) position that can be based anywhere in Canada. The schedule will follow standard working hours, with occasional evening or weekend shifts, and may vary based on the selected candidate’s time zone.It is a fully remote role with an hourly wage of $19.00 -23.50, inclusive of regional differentials and based on previous experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate or update graphics, flyers, posters, and digital contentPrepare and ship brochures, banners, and promotional materials across CanadaSupport local outreach and community marketing initiatives Research and identify high ‑value community events that attract potential hosts, and coordinate CHN team participationIdentify and develop sponsorships and collaborations with organizations that align with host recruitment goalsHelp update CHN’s websites and portals for clarity and accuracyAssist with guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials for hosts and studentsPublish engaging content, moderate comments, and support contestsContribute to newsletters and highlight host/student storiesPlan and create social media messaging campaigns to drive traffic to CHN’s website and increase host inquiriesSupport branding, templates, email signatures, and internal updatesKeep files, photos, and media assets organizedDevelop best practices, how-tos, and kits for team members to use for outreach and events The successful candidate will have1 - 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or digital mediaGreat writing and editing skillsBasic design ability (Canva required; Adobe is a plus)Diploma/degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
