It’s a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummaryThe Marketing and Communications Specialist – BLS (Public Safety) ANZ,  is a professional who coordinates the development and design of ZOLL's promotional materials for the BLS/Public Safety division, intending to spread brand awareness among fire, police, EMS/ambulance and other public safety agencies, and assist the marketing and public relations teams.They create messaging strategies and marketing campaigns to teach public safety stakeholders more about ZOLL's public safety products (AEDs, monitors and related equipment). Marketing communications specialists may handle online and offline promotional resources and manage the business's social media content across channels. This role requires professionals to use their creativity, adapt to public safety audience preferences and create innovative content. This is a fixed-term engagement to support the BLS/Public Safety marketing function for a defined period.Work on the development and execution of marketing activities to meet project objectives within the BLS/Public Safety marketing plan (digital & traditional)Develop, edit and produce artwork for promotional, educational and communication material to resonate with public safety audiences (fire, police, EMS/ambulance)Liaise & collaborate with ZOLL Global Marketing to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters, localising content and other materials as requiredInitiate and build marketing campaigns for public safety target audiences/segments including but not limited to social media, new projects, email marketing, advertisements, marketing materials, webcasts and websitesAssist in creating educational material, sales presentations, proposals, correspondence, and reports as required for the BLS/Public Safety territory teamsCreate social media posts, website updates or any / other event-related posts/updates as requiredEnsure that all marketing collateral/activities are compliant and that every detail about the product is correct and meets the requirements of the company and relevant public safety regulatory bodiesBuild marketing and product knowledge by attending all ZOLL sales & marketing meetings relevant to BLS/Public SafetyLiaise and collaborate with the events team (sales & warehouse & other stakeholders) in managing national conferences and local events for the BLS/Public Safety division (e.g. fire & emergency services expos, police & ambulance conferences) and provide assistance as required with the following:Design booth artwork and productionManage approvals and budgetAttend trade shows and public safety/first responder events to increase market knowledgeSupport the marketing leadership team through the organisation and administrative support for various BLS/Public Safety projectsMaintain strong communication between marketing executives and internal and external stakeholders, including public safety agencies and tender contactsCoordinate employee meetings and communications for the marketing departmentMaintain executive schedules and oversee project loadPlan, prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the marketing teamConduct research for key marketing campaigns and public safety sector tendersIntimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channelsExcellent communication skillsAbility to think creatively and innovativelyBudget-management skills and proficiencyProfessional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the fieldAnalytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challengesFamiliarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.Minimum 3 years marketing experience; experience in the medical device, government or public safety sector highly regardedTertiary qualifications in marketing or business disciplineKnowledge of, or strong interest in, the public safety/emergency services sector (fire, police, EMS/ambulance)Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challengesBudget management skills and proficiencyExperience in delivering high volume projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, suited to a fixed-term/project-based engagementDesirable to have relevant sales or government/tender experienceStrong communication skillsAttention to detailFlexible and adaptable to changing needsCreativityAbility to work independently and hit the ground running within a fixed-term contractCommitment to the quality, environment, health and safety and proactively reporting any risks and issues to your Manager or SupervisorCarrying out the roles and responsibilities as detailed in the quality, environment, health and safety policies and proceduresUnderstanding the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, environment, health and safety management systemYour involvement is essential in identifying potential hazards that can be eliminated, or minimised, before injuries occurParticipating in trainings, inductions, and Tool Box TalksTake reasonable care for your own health and safetyTake reasonable care that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons
