Full time, part time, or contracted applicants will be considered. This role will build relationships with potential and existing stakeholders through social media networks, online platforms, in-person events, print marketing, and other methods of outreach.Duties include, but are not limited to, social media and print-based design, maintenanceand engagement, website oversight and project-based work. This person must exhibit aprofessional agency image through in-person and virtual interactions.Primary Responsibilities• Develop and manage social media and digital content that builds awareness of theorganization, its mission, programs, and services.• Lead marketing and communications efforts focused on foster parent recruitmentand the urgent need for foster families.• Educate the community about foster care and adoption, including realities, myths,needs, and opportunities to get involved.• Create monthly and season-specific donor appeals and fundraising contenthighlighting current organizational needs, (ie: back-to-school, holiday, and yearendcampaigns), while communicating impact and inviting community support.• Develop content for key awareness months and observances.• Create newsletters, publications, marketing materials, and other mission-focusedcommunications.• Attend and photograph/video agency events and establish and maintain an archiveof photos and consents for agency use.• Increase the organization's visibility and brand awareness through communityoutreach, events, partnerships, and digital platforms.• Share stories, resources, and educational content that engage youth, families,foster parents, donors, and community members.• Ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency ofposting via digital and print channels of communication• Develop working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partners• Solicit donations, corporate sponsorships and partnerships for agency fundraisers• Assist in donor and volunteer management• Assist in grant writing by providing supplementary materials as needed• Create and edit agency videos when needed• Support staff in assigned project-based work and attend/support fundraisers andevents involving the development and community engagement team• Assist with other administrative tasks as assignedQualifications:• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, publicrelations, or a related field.• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.• Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digitalcontent.• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, andcampaigns.• Strong understanding of branding, audience engagement, and communityoutreach.• Proficiency with Canva and common social media platforms.• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field or equivalentcombination of education and experience preferredRequired Flexible work from home options available.
