About the Role: The Marketing Data Science Manager plays a key role in advancing Ubique Group’s data-driven marketing strategy by overseeing the analysis, modeling, and interpretation of pricing and promotional data to guide strategic decisions and optimize marketing performance.The Marketing Data Scientist is responsible for managing the pricing and promotional architecture across the Ubique Group brand portfolio. This position will utilize past sales history, relevant seasonality information, and strategic company guidance to manage retail pricing, build promotional plans within gross margin parameters, and review those promotional plans with account managers for approval. Once approval is received, the Marketing Data Science Manager will ensure that those promotions are submitted to the relevant retailer portal and will monitor and manage performance of the promotional events.This role requires extensive experience in data management and the tools to enable both broad and narrow datasets, as well as experience working within seller and vendor retail portals to manage promotional events and retail pricing. A successful Marketing Data Science Manager is able to coordinate between marketing and sales departments to manage successful promotional events and achieve broader company objectives around excess and obsolete inventory and strategic brand goals.As a true first-line manager, this role will act as a player coach, doing the majority of the work directly while building a department of analysts and data professionals, ensuring departmental milestones are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, compliance, and analytical excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of marketing data models and analytical tools to optimize performance across all channels.Collect, clean, and manage large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with retailer standards.Gather and analyze sales, marketing, and consumer data to evaluate campaign performance, channel ROI, and audience engagement.Research competitor activities, industry trends, and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities across partner and affiliate networks.Collaborate with channel and affiliate partners to develop targeted, data-informed marketing campaigns and materials.Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to channel partners to strengthen collaboration and align marketing efforts.Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations that guide marketing strategies and drive ROI.Partner with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to develop predictive models that magnify promotional performance and effectiveness.Identify and implement emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies that advance Ubique Group’s marketing analytics capabilities.Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering skill development, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields required.5+ years of experience in marketing data science, analytics, or related field.Experience working with ecommerce retailers including but not limited to Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, Target, Walmart is preferred.Strong understanding of marketing analytics, consumer segmentation, and partner or channel marketing performance.Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and marketing strategies.Hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Google Analytics, or Power BI.Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.Benefits:We offer a competitive benefit package that includes:Major medical, dental, and vision benefits available day one no waiting periodCompany-paid life insurance and employee assistance program for all employees401K with company matchEmployee discount on Ubique Group productsFree office chair and desk for remote employeesEmployee-led organization Ubique Cares engages in monthly and quarterly employee engagement activities packed with fun and giveaways!Ubique Group offers 9 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday per year and up to 18 Accrued PTO days per year D/V/F/M EOE
