Job Summary:The Email & Marketing Automation Manager leads the day-to-day execution of the organization’s email marketing and marketing automation initiatives while supporting broader digital campaign implementation across web and fundraising platforms.This role reports to the Senior Manager, Web Administrator, to implement campaigns, maintain platform quality, and ensure accurate, accessible, and high-performing digital communications. The position is execution-focused, with responsibility for managing email delivery and supporting digital implementation rather than owning overall digital strategy or platform architecture. Key Duties & Responsibilities:Email Marketing & Automation (Primary)Manage the organization’s day-to-day email marketing program, including campaign setup, scheduling, testing, QA, and deploymentBuild and maintain email templates and reusable campaign componentsConfigure audience segmentation, lists, and targeting for email sendsSupport marketing automation workflows, including basic nurture flows, triggered emails, and campaign sequencingMonitor email performance and assist with reporting, QA, and optimization of deliverability and engagementEnsure emails follow accessibility, branding, and technical best practicesDigital Campaign & Website SupportSupport day-to-day updates and maintenance of the organization’s website(s), including CMS content updates, page builds, and QAAssist with digital campaign launches, landing page setup, and cross-channel implementationImplement UX, accessibility, and content updates across digital properties in alignment with established standardsSupport troubleshooting, routine enhancements, and platform quality assurance across web and campaign pagesCoordinate with vendors or internal partners on assigned digital and email initiativesAnalytics, QA, and OperationsSupport analytics validation, including basic reporting checks, link tracking QA, and campaign tagging verificationDocument processes, templates, and workflows to improve consistency and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to execute email communications, digital campaigns, and support content updatesConduct routine performance checks and operational improvements across email and digital channelsQualifications: 3 to 5 years of professional experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns, with demonstrated expertise in Luminate Online.Experience working with marketing automation tools or workflow-based email systemsExperience managing website updates in a CMS environment (Drupal, WordPress, or similar)Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic troubleshooting conceptsStrong attention to detail, QA discipline, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environmentPhysical Requirements:Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as computer printer, calculator, and copier. The position requires a professional, quiet working environment free from background noise and interruptions, conducive to providing high-quality phone support to participants, donors, and stakeholders.Prolonged periods of a stationary position at least 50% of the time.The ability to recognize details at close range for extended periods of time.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. This position is based remotely. Candidates may live in any area within the United States, but nationwide travel will be required approximately 15% of the time.
