This role partners across internal and external partners to develop clear briefs, guide high-quality creative, and ensure consistent, compelling brand activation that drives business goals. Essential Responsibilities Assist with developing and refining the brand strategy by leveraging consumer insights to shape positioning, messaging, creative, and communication frameworks that build equity in the brand and drive business goals. Serve as brand manager for our private brands, maintaining and evolving brand guidelines, visual identity, tone, and overall brand consistency across all touchpoints. Translate insights into action by writing clear, strategic briefs that distill customer needs, business objectives, and success criteria for internal and external teams. Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Merchandising, Media, and external partners to guide strategic direction, ensure alignment, and develop high-quality assets. Oversee creative development and approvals, reviewing content with strong attention to detail and ensuring it reflects brand standards, meets business goals, and resonates with target audiences. Partner with cross functional teams to monitor and analyze campaign performance, delivering clear reporting and actionable insights to optimize creative and messaging. Drive continuous improvement by establishing and sharing best practices in Brand Marketing, Creative, and cross-team workflows. Support media initiatives, providing strategic and creative input to operationalize campaigns and elevate partner-driven activations. Lead key initiatives and special projects as needed. Coordinate with vendors, agencies and other third parties as needed. Seek opportunities to learn from peers, share professional knowledge, and contribute to opportunities for improvement in process and practice. Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all. Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts. Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation. Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations. Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field or commensurate experience preferred Professional Experience 4+ years in a Brand Marketing role, preferably for a retailer with both brick and mortar and ecommerce operations Skills List Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Insight driven brand builder with the ability to drive demand through meaningful marketing activities. Ability to think strategically to provide solutions and from a consumer-centric point of view. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with an attention to detail and quality. A strong communicator with a growth and team-oriented mindset who can work closely with various teams where effective communication is crucial to success. Proven ability to work in a marketing team within a cross-functional environment including customer experience, merchandising and product management. Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously to independently drive projects/initiatives, and willingness to navigate change and ambiguity. Adaptable to shifting organizational priorities by taking ownership of new duties and regularly owning a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. Ability to work effectively with Media, Creative Services team members, Copywriters, and Designers to provide constructive feedback for creative deliverables, when appropriate. Competencies & Knowledge A basic understanding of marketing workflows, ecommerce, and website operations. Familiarity with video, photo, and audio production a plus. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront and Airtable is preferred but not required.
