Were looking for a Klaviyo Expert to own and optimize our email and SMS lifecycle marketing, from strategy to execution, with a strong focus on conversion, retention, and compliance. Role Overview This role is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing Klaviyo flows, campaigns, and segmentation across the customer lifecycle. You will work closely with marketing, product, and operations to ensure timely, personalized, and high-performing communication. You should be comfortable working in data-heavy environments, improving deliverability, and translating business goals into automated lifecycle journeys. Key Responsibilities Klaviyo Setup & Lifecycle Flows Build, maintain, and optimize Klaviyo flows (welcome, abandoned checkout, re-engagement, post-purchase, churn prevention, etc.)Audit existing flows and identify gaps or improvement opportunitiesEnsure flows are triggered correctly and aligned with user behavior Campaign Management Create and schedule email and SMS campaignsCoordinate messaging with product launches, promotions, and operational updatesEnsure consistent branding, tone, and compliance Segmentation & Data Build advanced segments based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and attributesMaintain clean lists and manage suppression logicPartner with tech teams to ensure accurate event tracking and data syncs Optimization & Performance Monitor open rates, CTR, conversion, and revenue attributionA/B test subject lines, content, timing, and flowsImprove deliverability and sender reputation Compliance & Best Practices Ensure messaging aligns with healthcare marketing standards and privacy regulationsMaintain unsubscribe, consent, and preference management best practices Required Qualifications 2–4+ years hands-on experience with KlaviyoStrong experience building lifecycle flows and segmentationSolid understanding of email and SMS deliverabilityAbility to interpret data and translate insights into actionExcellent written English and attention to detail Nice to Have Experience in healthcare, wellness, or regulated industriesExperience with transactional + marketing email separationFamiliarity with product-led or subscription businessesExperience collaborating with engineering or data teams What Success Looks Like High-performing automated flows with clear attributionImproved open, click, and conversion ratesClean segmentation and reliable data trackingEmail and SMS becoming a core revenue and retention channel
