Redtech is helping our client with a Direct Hire/FTE search for an IT Product Manager with a focus on HR Business Applications.Duration – Direct Hire/FTELocation – Seattle, WASchedule – hybrid 3 days/week on site (T/W/TH) – may require additional onsite for training/onboardingOn-call - As an IT Product Manager, you will be required to be on call and available after hours on weeknights and weekends in the event urgent issues arises until the matter is confirmed resolved, to include a recap of the incident and any identified process improvements to avoid future incidents. This would include working with the business stakeholders to determine application project viability and business benefit, including scope definition, and development estimation, for applications projects for CLIENT and other Brands/Line of Business are required. Focus on custom internal HR Applications is required. Process Mapping• Create and maintain Business Applications roadmap.• Capture business feedback and conduct market research to create business cases, recommend feature updates and new solutions/applications.• Closely work with BA/scrum master to follow team’s development methodology to refine backlog by working with business product owners and team members; facilitate release planning; assist with dependency management and cross team coordinator.• Create and manage documentation of features and critical functionalities. Project Management• Define and monitor KPI’s like revenue improvements, cost savings, productivity and end user engagement.• Coordinates testing with QA team and the application user for projects.• Create Project plans and status reports, identify risks, and provide regular updates to IT leadership. Implementation/Development• Development, QA and UAT coordination with other IT and delivery teams.• Mockup feature designs and help create POCs, prioritization, collaboration with project stakeholders and technical teams to define scope and deliverables. User Experience Design• Collaborate with the design team to create the most intuitive and engaging user experiences.• Participates in design reviews and provides suggestions to improve usability, adoption and customer value for guest experience applications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities needed Scope:As an IT Product Manager, the role will define a clear product vision and craft a strategic roadmap. This involves setting long-term goals and defining key features and milestones that guide the product’s development." Problem solving:Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user engagement, productivity, and customer satisfaction to measure product success." Impact:This role will collaborate with Business Application technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to ensure that the product strategy aligns with overall business objectives. Your efforts will improve end-user productivity and enhance customer experience." Leadership:The IT Product Manager will ensure successful execution of projects, including planning and coordination, demonstrating leadership in driving initiatives from conception to completion." Essential/Minimum qualificationsExperience with designing and launching customer-facing products or services in an agile environment.Experience in leveraging JIRA, Confluence or other tools to provide metrics and reports for measuring product/project success. Strong understanding of project management principles related to resource allocation and timelines.Demonstrated ability to understand technology concepts and implications, manage trade-offs and evaluate new opportunities.Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management.Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.Plan and manage multiple parallel projects.Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Essential experience requiredBachelor's degree in related field.At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Analyst specializing in Business Applications and HR products, with a proven track record in software development projects and delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment.
