Description 


 


We are looking for a mid-level HR Specialist to support and manage core HR administrative and operational processes in Spain. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, preparing employment documentation, coordinating with the payroll provider, and supporting talent acquisition activities. 


 


The HR Specialist will also play a key role in planning and executing annual HR activities and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external requirements. This is a hands-on, diverse role within a corporate environment. 


 


Responsibilities 



  • Maintain and manage employee personnel files in electronic format (HRIS). 



  • Enter and update personal, contractual, and salary data for new and existing employees. 



  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and agreements, ensuring proper signature and documentation. 



  • Coordinate with the payroll provider by submitting employee data, salary updates, and monthly/yearly HR incidents. 



  • Manage employee documentation, ensuring all required forms are signed, stored, and compliant. 



  • Maintain records related to employee benefits, insurance, and other compensation programs, and provide necessary information to providers. 



  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with interview coordination and candidate evaluations when required. 



  • Plan and manage annual HR activities, including internal events, celebrations, and employee engagement initiatives. 



  • Prepare and provide HR documentation required for internal and external audits. 



  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection in all HR-related processes. 



  • Perform other HR-related duties assigned by the direct supervisor, in line with the role. 


 


Requirements 


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. 



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar HR Specialist role. 



  • Solid knowledge of Spanish labor practices and employee administration in Spain. 



  • Native Spanish and basic working proficiency in English. 



  • Good command of MS Office and experience working with HRIS and internal tools (e.g., Jira or similar). 



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 


 



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 



  • High level of confidentiality, responsibility, and attention to detail. 



  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently. 



  • Basic leadership and coordination
