The Opportunity: 





The Head of Sportsbook Product is a senior leadership position that will be accountable for the strategy, structure, and delivery of the Sportsbook customer-facing product vertical, ensuring clarity of direction, disciplined execution and predictable outcomes. Reporting directly to the VP of Sports Product, this role requires strong ownership of the Sportsbook roadmap and effective collaboration across a dynamic, multi-domain product organisation. You will define and implement the Sportsbook product strategy, translate B2B platform requirements into clear product direction and lead integration work in close collaboration with Technology and Delivery teams. 





Key responsibilities of this role include: 




Product and Team Leadership 



  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Sports Product to develop and evolve the strategy for an industry-leading B2B Sportsbook customer experience, clearly defining the goals, KPIs, and success measures that will drive the product forward. 



  • Coach and mentor the Product team, establishing a culture where clear expectations around ownership, quality, and follow-through are set and consistently upheld. 



  • Ensure your product team are empowered to operate with confidence and independence, and that high performance standards are maintained across the entire function. 



  • Define recruitment needs and actively participate in the hiring process for Product Managers and Product Owners and structuring the department to effectively support the Sportsbook strategy and scale. 


 


Strategy and Roadmap Planning Excellence 



  • Define, maintain, and communicate a clear Sportsbook Product strategy aligned with business goals, market and client needs. 



  • Translate strategy into a prioritised, realistic, and executable roadmap by balancing internal objectives with long-term market trends and opportunities. 



  • Lead the prioritisation process, ensuring planning decisions consider end-to-end impact and cross-team dependencies. 



  • Conduct structured market research and competitor benchmarking to inform future product direction and investment decisions. 



  • Maintain clear, stable product plans by leading disciplined prioritization and trade-off decisions, ensuring the product roadmap remains achievable and focused on maximizing value. 


 


Process, Execution and Delivery Management 



  • Set and maintain a product management approach that brings clarity, discipline, and consistency to Sportsbook delivery. 



  • Own requirements end-to-end, working closely with Engineering, Trading Product and QA teams from discovery through to live release.  



  • Ensure requirements are complete, dependency-aware, and ready before entering development. 



  • Translate external constraints into clear product decisions and trade-offs. 



  • Provide clear product leadership to support well-planned, predictable delivery alongside engineering teams. 



  • Act as the champion of the Sportsbook customer experience throughout discovery and delivery, supporting UX and interaction design to ensure features are intuitive and consistent. 



  • Ensure product development operates within relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks, working closely with Compliance and Legal teams to reflect jurisdictional rules, licensing requirements, and industry standards in product decisions. 


 


Commercial Strategy and External Relationships 



  • Work closely with internal business functions including Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Technology and Operations to ensure shared understanding of objectives, priorities, progress and risks. 



  • Work with P&L leadership team to communicate new products and features, support marketing activity, and assist the VP of Sportsbook Product with client presentations and sales engagements. 



  • Guide and assist the formulation of product launch plans and supporting documentation that clearly articulate the value and differentiation of the Sportsbook offering. 



  • Propose, agree, and operate within defined budgets, developing and maintaining business cases to support future product initiatives. 





The successful candidate will demonstrate:





  • Proven senior product leader with experience setting a clear product vision and leading, organising, and developing Product teams in dynamic and demanding environments. 



  • Extensive experience in Sportsbook product design and development at Senior Product Manager level or above, with strong understanding of platforms, integrations, and the wider technology landscape. 



  • Strong strategic judgement with the ability to translate market insight, customer needs, and business goals into clear product direction and prioritised roadmaps. 



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence senior stakeholders, global teams, and clients through clear, structured, and pragmatic messaging. 



  • Demonstrated ability to operate confidently in dependency-heavy environments, maintaining delivery credibility through sound decision-making and preparation. 



  • Extensive experience working within agile product development environments at scale, balancing structure, speed, and quality. 



  • Strong prioritisation skills, ensuring teams focus on what matters most and commitments are met with confidence. 



  • Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, using data to assess impact, and applying structured approaches to testing and validation. 



  • Experience conducting market and competitor research to inform product strategy and future investment decisions. 



  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to support go-to-market activity and position Sportsbook products effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 





Location & Ways of Working:




We’re hiring EU passport holders for this role in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Latvia, Malta,Gibraltar, and the UK with the working arrangement (fully remote, hybrid, or office-based) depending on the specific location requirements.
