Our customers are super passionate about our product.LocationRemote, USAThe RoleWe are seeking a hands-on, technical Head of Marketing with a strong B2B SaaS background and deep knowledge of the music industry. We’re looking for someone who knows how the business side of the music industry works, not just the consumer and fan landscape.You'll lead our small but agile marketing team at a pivotal moment, owning the full marketing motion from awareness through to conversion, retention, and expansion across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise accounts. This isn't a role for someone who directs from a distance - you’ll need to be just as comfortable setting direction as you are getting into the detail, whether that means writing clear, compelling copy; improving funnels; building attribution and measurement frameworks; and helping strengthen our martech foundations. If you’re practical, thoughtful, and excited by the chance to build, lead, and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesApply your deep knowledge of the music industry and the segments we serve (supervisors, labels, publishers, managers, promo and artists) to shape how we position and structure our marketing efforts so they resonate with each of our key segments.Coach, develop, and set the bar for a small marketing team. This is a player-coach role, helping the small but dynamic marketing team deliver successful growth of our SMB and Mid-Market segments in North America and beyondLead successful enterprise marketing campaigns for marketing to enterpriseDevelop and implement marketing strategies that align with DISCO's broader objectives, with a focus on demand generation initiativesPartner with Revenue Operations to optimize conversions, delivering insights to our Customer Success, Sales, and Executive teamsEmbed deeply with Sales and Customer Success to absorb the language of our customers, translating it into world class positioning, copy, and campaignsPartner with our Product team to deeply understand our product and how to most successfully communicate the value of DISCO to diverse segments, driving activation, usage and retentionBuild and own DISCO's attribution and measurement framework, giving Customer Success, Sales, and leadership clear visibility into what's driving pipeline and retention across segmentsOversee the creation of compelling content and marketing campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base, from Artists, to SMBs, to large enterprisesDrive partnership marketing efforts, identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships to bolster brand visibility and market reachSuccessfully steward DISCO’s brand, managing it across brand moments and event project managementFoster a community of DISCO ambassadors, leveraging community engagement to enhance brand loyalty and customer retention with a goal of driving user-generated contentManage external marketing and PR agencies to align external communications with our brand voice and strategic goals A solid understanding of the commercial side of the Music Industry (the labels, publishers, distributors, sync agencies, and rights holders who make up our world)Minimum of 7+ years of experience in marketing leadership with significant experience in B2B SaaSDemonstrated technical skills leading and implementing martechFamiliarity with ABM tools and enterprise go-to-market motions, including multi-stakeholder buying cyclesDemonstrated experience in driving customer acquisition, retention, and expansionProven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in B2B segmentsExpertise in marketing automation, CRM tools, and digital marketing platformsStrong leadership skills, with experience in team management and development At DISCO, our employees have told us what benefits mean the most to them, and we've listened.
