To support the company’s continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, to join our growing team.


Summary


The Senior Analyst will support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, managing forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and providing strategic insights to support organizational growth and profitability. This role demands strong leadership, a comprehensive understanding of financial management, and a proven track record in driving process improvements. Additionally, the position involves collaborating on the design, testing, implementation, and review of financial systems and processes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making.
  • Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Evaluate investments, mergers, acquisitions, and prepare bank covenant reports.
  • Lead improvements in financial systems and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide strategic financial recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Maintain financial accounting systems and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
  • Review and rationalize inputs for the annual operating plan and forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators to monitor business trends.
  • Build and update financial models to support business investments.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of streamlined planning and forecasting processes.
  • Participate in and provide commentary for monthly financial and budget reviews.
  • Monitor spending against business unit objectives, highlighting opportunities or gaps.
  • Ensure financial compliance with accounting processes, including cost accounting and close processes.
  • Manage internal business unit financial reporting and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Senior Manager to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the ongoing budget reforecasting and field forecasting efforts.
  • Analyze and prepare monthly reports to identify trends, variances, and forecast implications.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand deviations from expectations, collaborating with business partners to resolve issues.
  • Support SG&A expenses, headcount planning, and people cost forecasts during budgeting periods.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for business operations.
  • Provide analysis and evaluation of cost/expense issues and profit improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements to analysis and budgeting methods and procedures.
  • Analyze and communicate key metrics, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual projections.
  • Critique economic evaluations for capital expenditures.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion on significant matters.
  • Ensure consistent, punctual attendance and be available for nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements


Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, financial modeling, and system analysis.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling using Excel, Power BI, and related software.
  • Strong background in financial statement analysis and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated skill in leading problem-solving initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Special Requirements


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Must be available for an in-person interview.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
