About the roleWe are seeking a Field Marketing Manager to build and lead Elicit's field marketing function from the ground up. As the founding member of our field marketing team, you will partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to design and execute integrated field marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, accelerate deals, and deepen customer engagement with researchers and life sciences organizations.The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of B2B field marketing experience with a builder's mindset - someone who can establish processes from scratch, knows what to prioritize, and moves quickly from strategy to execution. You'll have significant autonomy to shape our field marketing approach while working in close partnership with our go-to-market leadership.ResponsibilitiesBuild Elicit's field marketing function from the ground up, establishing strategy, processes, and measurement frameworksPartner with sales teams to understand segment priorities, account needs, and revenue targets, translating them into actionable field marketing plansPlan, execute, and measure field marketing programs including targeted account activities, industry campaigns, webinars, executive dinners, and conferencesCreate and refine processes for end-to-end event management, from pre-event planning through post-event follow-up and performance analysisDesign and execute follow-up campaigns, nurture programs, and field-specific sales enablement activitiesEstablish reporting and analytics to track program performance and demonstrate impact on pipeline and revenueBuild relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and drive cross-functional collaborationIdentify and capitalize on new opportunities to drive engagement with life sciences companies and academic research institutionsYou may be a good fit if you have3–5 years of B2B field marketing experience, ideally at a software/SaaS or technology company, with a track record of driving measurable business impactDemonstrated ability to build programs and processes from scratch in a startup or high-growth environmentExperience working closely with enterprise sales teams, understanding sales cycles and how to support revenue goalsStrong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple programs simultaneouslyEntrepreneurial mindset with comfort in ambiguity and ability to operate with minimal oversightExcellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organizationData-driven approach to program measurement and optimizationBachelor's degree requiredStrong candidates may also haveExperience in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industriesBackground in AI/ML or technical product companiesFamiliarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and toolsExperience with executive programs or events targeting VP+ and C-level personasTrack record of building or scaling marketing functions at early-stage companiesUnderstanding of research-focused or science-focused audiencesExperience managing vendor relationships and event budgetsWhat we offerFor all roles at Elicit, we use a data-backed compensation framework to keep salaries market-competitive, equitable, and simple to understand.
