Our products serve hundreds of thousands of freelancers, solo entrepreneurs and microbusinesses across hundreds of industries across multiple geographies. About the RoleWe’re looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join the EverPro Lifecycle Marketing team, supporting two fast-growing mobile invoicing products: Joist and Invoice Simple.In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable lifecycle journeys that support customer engagement, feature adoption, retention, and revenue growth. You’ll translate lifecycle campaign direction into high-quality execution across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging—ensuring journeys are reliable, maintainable, and effective.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning execution and systems, takes pride in quality and operational excellence, and wants to deepen their expertise in marketing automation within a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment.What You’ll DoJourney Architecture & AutomationDesign and implement automated lifecycle journeys aligned to onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, and win-back use casesTranslate campaign briefs and experience direction into:Channel sequencing and coordination (email, push, in-app)Entry and exit criteriaTrigger logic, suppression rules, and timingEnsure journeys are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with platform and data constraintsCampaign Execution & DeliveryBuild and launch lifecycle campaigns in Braze with accuracy and attention to detailImplement segmentation, personalization, and dynamic contentQA all campaigns to ensure correctness, compliance, and on-time deliverySupport localization builds when neededQuality, Risk & ReliabilityOwn execution quality and delivery standards across lifecycle programsMonitor and troubleshoot data issues, broken journeys, and delivery failuresProactively identify executional risks that could impact customer experience or business outcomesEscalate risks early and recommend mitigation approachesExperimentation & Optimization SupportExecute A/B tests and experiments accurately and consistentlyEnsure test setups align with defined hypotheses and success criteriaValidate data integrity and flag anomalies or execution-level insightsSupport iteration by ensuring experiments are clean, repeatable, and scalableSystem Leverage & Continuous ImprovementBuild reusable journey patterns, templates, and documentationReduce manual work and rework through better system designImprove lifecycle execution efficiency and scalability over timeContribute to shared standards and best practices within the lifecycle teamCollaborationPartner closely with Lifecycle Marketing Managers, copywriters, designers, and analystsProvide feasibility guidance and executional recommendations during planningAct as a trusted automation partner, balancing speed, quality, and scalabilityWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications4–6+ years of experience in marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or CRM-related rolesHands-on experience building and managing campaigns in Braze (or similar platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, Iterable, or Customer.io)Strong understanding of segmentation, triggers, personalization, and automated journeysExperience supporting experimentation (A/B testing) and performance optimizationHigh attention to detail with a strong QA mindsetAbility to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsNice to Have / Bonus ExperienceExperience working in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) or B2B SaaS environmentExposure to lifecycle eventing, attributes, or customer data modelsExperience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Data teams on lifecycle-related use casesExperience contributing to platform standards such as frequency capping, suppression logic, or journey governanceInterest in system design, automation scalability, or lifecycle infrastructure stewardshipWhy Join EverPro Lifecycle MarketingWork on high-impact lifecycle programs that support real customer and revenue outcomesOwn meaningful automation and journey design—not just “build tickets”Grow your technical and system design skills in BrazeCollaborate with thoughtful marketers, product teams, and data partnersClear growth paths into senior automation or lifecycle system rolesBenefits and Perks:Flexibility to work where/how you want within your country of employment – in-office, remote, or hybrid Continued investment in your professional developmentDay 1 robust health and wellness benefits, including an annual wellness stipend 401k with up to a 4% match and immediate vesting Flexible and generous (FTO) time-off Employee Stock Purchase Program Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
