Job Summary: The Events Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, evaluation, and success of veteran-facing events annually. This role is pivotal in creating high-impact events that strengthen brand presence, foster community engagement, resonate with our audience, and deliver measurable business results. The event marketing manager will create and manage the event calendar while measuring event ROI. The manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to integrate social media, promotions, influencers, branding, and partnership strategies into event planning. What is expected in this role:Owning and managing the full lifecycle of events, from planning and promotion to execution and evaluating success. Strategy and planning: Develop and implement event marketing strategies and concepts to align with the company's overall marketing and business goals. Budget and project management: Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources, while overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Campaign execution: Plan and execute promotional campaigns across various channels to drive attendance and engagement. Content and collateral: Oversee the creation of marketing materials, digital content, and collateral for events. Logistics and operations: Manage the logistical and operational aspects of events, including vendor relationships, on-site presence, and coordinating with internal teams like sales and content. Lead generation: Execute lead generation campaigns connected to events and work with sales teams on follow-up strategies. Performance analysis: Analyze event performance, gather attendee feedback, and report on key metrics to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement. Cross-functional coordination: Ability to work with teams across the organization to satisfy business goals.  How success is measured in this role:Event Attendance and Audience Engagement: Number of attendees and/or booth visits, interactions during sessions, Q&A participation (as applicable), social media activity, etc. ROI: Number of leads generated and converted from the event, staying within or under budget, and revenue generated from the event. Measurement of pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement.  Brand Impact: Social media engagement, press coverage, and brand sentiment.Attendee Satisfaction: Overall ratings of post-event surveys and Net Promoter Score (NPS).Operational Excellence: On-time delivery, meeting deadlines for planning and execution, smooth collaboration and minimal disruptions with vendors and partners What you need in this role to be successful: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or related field.Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.Proven experience in event planning and event marketing.Strong understanding of elevating event experiences and community engagement.Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and project management skills.A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing events, customer experience, and measure event ROI effectively.Experience in event planning and marketing, often including trade shows, conferences, and community events.Experience with budget management and negotiation.Creativity and the ability to innovate.Proficiency in managing multiple projects at once.Experience with vendor management and supplier coordination.Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure organizational goals are met.Understanding of Veterans and veteran experience strongly preferred.
