ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building internal tooling and third party integrations that keep players engaged. The Retention team powers the organisation with communication capabilities, ranging from indirect and direct communication with the players to a custom-built toolbox that enriches the player journey with bonuses, loyalty programs, and seamless cross-channel experiences. As one of the most crucial parts of the player lifecycle, the Retention domain ensures our players return for new, exciting, and rewarding experiences.

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, driving technical execution, and supporting team growth across the whole employee lifecycle - hiring & developing talent.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Lead and mentor the engineering team, driving growth, performance, and career development
Manage technical delivery, including code reviews, system health, and incident resolution
Plan and execute sprints, roadmaps, and project deliverables with clear timelines
Optimize CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and overall development processes
Ensure the team delivers high-quality releases through effective oversight of testing, automation, and collaboration with QA
Track and act on engineering KPIs, reporting progress and risks to stakeholders
Collaborate across engineering, product, and QA teams to achieve goals
Contribute to engineering strategy, SDLC improvements, and stakeholder communication
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Solid engineering background
Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams
Transparent and inspiring leadership style that builds trust
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and challenge teams effectively when needed
Deep understanding of Agile software development methodologies
