Role Summary The Director of Marketing is responsible for driving pipeline, bookings, and long-term revenue growth through an integrated marketing strategy and hands-on execution. This role is equal parts strategic and execution focused, requiring the ability to set direction and priorities while also rolling up your sleeves to build content, launch campaigns, and push initiatives out the door, as well as manage vendors and shared internal resources. Beyond functional leadership, the Director of Marketing owns measurable business outcomes across demand generation, customer expansion, content and market messaging, SDR performance, and vendor effectiveness. This role is accountable for turning strategy into action by owning the weekly Monday task list to ensure performance initiatives are clearly prioritized, executed, and tied to results across the organization. The Director of Marketing partners closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, executive leadership, and the sister company OptiMantra to ensure marketing operates as a core, data driven growth engine for the business, aligning teams, accelerating execution, and continuously improving performance. Core Responsibilities Strategic Planning Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to company growth objectives, total bookings, and overall performance. Drive marketing’s contribution to pipeline generation, demo volume, expansion revenue, and closed-won bookings. Partner with the VP of Marketing and leadership team to set priorities, budgets, and success metrics tied to revenue outcomes. Review and refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and concentrate investment on the segments where the company consistently wins. Brand and Content Own company positioning, messaging, and brand execution across all market-facing channels. Drive content production, personally developing key content and partnering with vendors as needed to scale output, while leveraging tools like Profound to build and optimize AIO search presence. Ensure all marketing communications are clinic-centric and aligned with buyer needs and company values. Demand Generation & SDR Oversight Lead full-funnel demand generation across paid, organic, content, video, emerging channels, events, partnerships, and field marketing, including managing vendors for Google Ads, retargeting, Reddit, and Meta campaigns. Require strong marketing automation expertise with HubSpot preferred, Salesforce experience a plus, and CRM fluency a must to ensure clean handoffs, attribution, and revenue visibility. Oversee SDR as a marketing channel, aligning inbound and outbound programs with sales priorities and performance targets. Ensure consistent, high-quality pipeline and demo generation for Sales. Customer Marketing & Expansion Build and scale customer marketing programs focused on adoption, retention, upsell, and cross-sell revenue. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive expansion pipeline through lifecycle and account-based marketing. Product Marketing/Go-to-Market Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and launches for new and existing products. Align product marketing with sales enablement and customer communications. Cross-Functional & Portfolio Leadership (Cerbo & OptiMantra) Collaborate with OptiMantra marketing leadership to continuously refine the Ideal Customer Profile using win/loss, pipeline, and customer insights. Focus marketing strategy and investment on the segments where the business consistently wins. Ensure aligned but differentiated go-to-market execution across both organizations. Vendor, Budget & Performance Management Manage external agencies and vendors, holding partners accountable to performance, ROI, and quality standards. Support marketing budget, channel mix, and spend efficiency across internal teams and external resources. Leverage CRM, analytics, and attribution to track performance and inform decision-making. What You Bring: 5 to 8 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within healthcare technology, clinic-based SaaS, or similarly complex, high trust markets. Have strong command of a modern marketing tech stack, including marketing automation, CRM, attribution, and performance analytics, and know how to use these systems to drive growth. Work effectively across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership to align messaging, pipeline, and go to market execution. Be highly autonomous and comfortable operating with ownership and velocity, while still valuing tight communication, collaboration, and coordination with the broader team.
