Director of MarketingDepartment: MarketingEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: RemoteReporting To: Liz RecchiaCompensation: $140,000 - $180,000 / yearDescriptionThe Director of Marketing will be responsible for providing leadership support while overseeing direct response advertising and promotion activities to generate sales qualified leads and sales.Key Responsibilities Lead conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of campaigns Maintain a successful brand image among target audience Review latest marketing trends, strategies, and competitive landscape Analyze sales numbers to optimize future activity Collaborate with CMO to make high-level decisions regarding budgeting and strategic direction Manage various members of marketing department, including copywriters, graphic designers, and analysts Coordinate with other departments to ensure internal efficiencies Act as primary liaison with marketing vendors Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Leadership and change management skills to promote the role of Marketing as a key business partner and manage and implement Marketing initiatives and solutions that meet the needs of the business Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with wide range of individuals; build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate – verbally and in writing - and influence at all levels Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational and time management skills Self-starter with detail-oriented work habits Ability to react to change productively and handle essential tasks as assigned Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects Able and willing to continue professional development Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint Job BenefitsSee Birch careers page
