Position Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator     Responsible to: Communications Manager    Background: The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is a player-run international nonprofit organization. There are 6 staff members based at the international headquarters in Appling, Georgia, USA and additional staff members who work remotely. The PDGA, with over 100,000 active members and hundreds of volunteers, is the governing body for the sport of disc golf and sanctions competitive events for competitors of every skill level from novice to professional. All employees will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.     Position Summary:  The PDGA seeks a digital marketing coordinator to help maintain digital channels, build brand awareness, and promote the PDGA’s mission.  Digital channels include websites, email marketing, and social media. The digital marketing coordinator is responsible for executing communication on various channels and facilitating social media campaigns to maximize sales revenue, data acquisition, community engagement, awareness and lead generation. The role also includes assisting with analyzing and reporting on digital marketing performance to drive continuous optimization. You will be joining a results-driven, highly motivated team.    Position Responsibilities:  Maintain updates to content on pdga.com webpages  Coordinate email marketing initiatives, including newsletters and automated marketing campaign distributions, including set up, testing, reporting, and list maintenance  Assist with text messaging campaigns  Contribute to PDGA social media channels through content creation, planning, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and real-time event coverage  Draft copy via various channels, included but not limited to print, digital, email, and social  Assist with advertising and sponsorship placements  Work closely with the Marketing, Media, and Membership teams to maintain a rich content calendar that promotes the association, membership, disc golf, and other PDGA properties   Assist with monthly analytics reporting for campaigns and optimization recommendations   Stay current on best practices and trends in digital marketing  Create Graphics from templates to support PDGA initiatives  Other related tasks as needed    Essential Qualifications:  1-3 years of experience in relevant positions  Strong writing skills across a variety of media  Interact professionally with staff, members, volunteers, external partners, and spectators  Resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic manner and with kindness  Ensure that brand standards are met and that the quality of content is consistent across all platforms  Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented  Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines  Familiarity with AP Style  Experience editing graphics / photos with Adobe Photoshop    Desired Qualifications:  Passion for the sport of disc golf recommended  Experience updating and engaging with content calendars  Experience with content management systems  Experience with writing email broadcasts and using email marketing software (MailChimp)  Experience with marketing automation systems, lead generation and nurturing, email marketing, surveys, forms, social media and campaign reporting  Working knowledge of paid social advertising, display, SEM and SMS strategies and best practices  Experience working with project management tools, i.e. Jira or Monday.com  Experience with marketing-related analytics  Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Media, or other related field  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Ease with repurposing content across different media including video and social media  Understanding of SEO, website management/optimization reporting, and analytics tools  Self-directed, change-striving, adaptable Other Requirements:  Position is open to remote candidates only  Successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours and weekends  Aptitude and desire to learn new skills  Two writing samples relevant to social media/digital marketing must be submitted with a resume and cover letter Some expenses-paid travel  Must be eligible to work in the US  Must sign and agree to the terms of the PDGA's employee non-disclosure agreement and conflict of interest policy  Background check required    Compensation:  A full-time, salaried position commensurate with experience and qualifications (expected salary:)  Paid health insurance plan (medical, dental, and vision)  Simple IRA/401(k) plan with matching contribution rate  Paid vacation and sick leave  Paid holidays  Paid continuing education opportunities  Paid continuing education opportunities  PDGA-issued equipment
