Role Overview:
The Delivery Analyst is a key member of the Technology Office, reporting to the Head of Technology and working in close partnership with the Portfolio Lead. They play a critical role in enabling effective delivery execution, helping teams plan, structure, and measure the delivery of strategic initiatives. 

Acting as a trusted partner to  technology and commercial leaders, the Delivery Analyst supports teams to break down work efficiently, maintain high-quality delivery data, and track meaningful progress against strategic goals and identification of delivery performance uplift opportunities. This role combines hands-on delivery support with proactive analysis of delivery health, ensuring the right insights, structures, and conversations are in place to help teams make great decisions.  

The key focus of the role is to drive delivery excellence throughout the idea and delivery lifecycle — from idea through initiative breakdown to value realization. The Delivery Analyst needs to be organized, analytical, curious, and able to influence without authority. Building strong relationships, driving clarity, and helping teams continuously improve their delivery practices will be essential to success. 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Delivery Partnership & Execution Support:

• Work closely with delivery leads, product owners, and engineering managers in your assigned domain to structure the breakdown of strategic initiatives into actionable pieces of work. 

• Support teams to define clear measures of progress and success — including key outcome metrics, and leading delivery indicators. 

• Promote consistent adoption of delivery standards, tooling, and frameworks across the domain. 

• Facilitate regular delivery health reviews, ensuring risks and blockers are surfaced early with clear follow-through actions. 

Portfolio Visibility & Insight:

• Partner with teams to maintain accurate and trusted data across delivery systems, ensuring the integrity of work structure, status, dependencies, and timelines. 

• Translate delivery data into meaningful, actionable insights for domain leaders and senior stakeholders. 

• Support prioritization processes by helping domain teams prepare relevant delivery and value data. 

• Contribute to the development of portfolio dashboards, reporting, and storytelling that highlight performance, achievements, and improvement opportunities. 

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance delivery flow, predictability, and value realization within the domain. 

• Champion best practices in work breakdown, planning, estimation, and progress tracking. 

• Engage in ongoing refinement of enterprise delivery processes and tools through feedback from supported teams. 

• Drive shared learnings and adoption of successful delivery patterns across multiple teams within the domain.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

You’re passionate about helping teams do their best work. You combine a structured, analytical approach with strong relationship-building and facilitation skills. You enjoy working closely with delivery and technical leaders to solve problems, improve clarity, and drive impactful outcomes. 

You likely bring: 

• Experience in delivery management, business analysis, PMO, or a similar role supporting technology teams. 

• Understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product-driven ways of working

• Ability to analyze delivery data, derive insights, and present recommendations in a clear and compelling way. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with confidence supporting senior stakeholders. 

• A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for a better way. 

• Teams in your domain have well-structured roadmaps and clear breakdown of work. 

• Data quality is high, enabling accurate reporting and confident decision-making. 

• Delivery health trends are visible early — and acted upon. 

• Domain leaders see you as an indispensable partner in execution.
