Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to improve business outcomes.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and patterns.
  • Create predictive analytics solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient model deployment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor solutions.
  • Present data-driven insights and findings to executive leadership teams.
  • Optimize model performance and accuracy through continuous evaluation and refinement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analytics lifecycle.
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks and emphasize experimental design approaches.
  • Conduct independent research to explore new data-driven possibilities.
  • Innovate with feature engineering to enhance model input quality.

Required Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a Data Science role within an analytics setting.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and R, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow.
  • Expertise in SQL and data manipulation for effective data analysis.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and their application in business contexts.
  • Excellent communication abilities to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools to create compelling stories from data.
  • Familiarity with the Los Angeles tech landscape and its unique challenges.
  • Adaptability to collaborate in a fast-paced, diverse Los Angeles environment.
