The CRM Marketing & Automation Specialist is responsible for the hands-on execution of marketing campaigns and lead management workflows inside the company’s CRM platform (GoHighLevel). This role ensures that marketing strategy is translated into high-performing technical builds that support top-of-funnel lead generation, nurture sequences, and the sales pipeline.This role will report to our Manager of Marketing & Content Strategy and partner with all functions.This is a primarily tactical role with a strong focus on marketing automation, campaign deployment, CRM pipeline management, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and systems-minded, with the ability to recommend the most effective technical approach to bring marketing funnels to life.Key ResponsibilitiesCRM & Marketing Automation Execution Building and updating sales pages inside GoHighLevelBuild, launch, and maintain funnels, workflows, and automations inside GoHighLevelConfigure forms, schedulers, landing pages, triggers, campaigns, and pipeline stagesImplement email and SMS campaigns using provided strategy, messaging, and assetsSet up lead routing, tagging, segmentation, and scoring to support marketing and sales effortsEnsure all automations are tested, QA’d, and deployed accuratelyManage CRM hygiene including tag accuracy, contact card updates, etc.Campaign & Lead ManagementManage the CRM components of top-of-funnel marketing campaignsConnect lead sources (ads, landing pages, website, and integrations) into the CRMMonitor and optimize lead flow from capture through handoff to salesMaintain and improve nurture sequences to increase conversion ratesSupport the execution of product launches and promotional campaignsSales Pipeline & Process SupportBuild and maintain pipelines that reflect the company’s sales processAutomate task assignments, follow-ups, and internal notificationsEnsure accurate tracking of opportunities, customer journeys, and conversion pointsData, Reporting & OptimizationTrack and report on campaign performance (opens, clicks, conversions, lead movement)Maintain CRM data hygiene and list healthIdentify workflow issues and performance gaps and recommend improvementsCreate and maintain simple dashboards and reporting viewsTechnical Strategy (Light – 10–15%)Recommend the most effective and scalable way to build funnels and automationsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency through better system configurationResearch and test new automation features and integrationsJob QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building and managing CRM or marketing automation systemsDemonstrated experience with GoHighLevel and GHL SaaS configurator (required)Experience executing email and/or SMS marketing campaigns within a CRMKnowledge of A2P compliance requirementsStrong understanding of:Automation workflows and triggersPipeline managementLead lifecycle and segmentationExcellent communication across multiple function departmentsAbility to translate marketing plans into technical buildsStrong QA and troubleshooting skillsExcellent organizational and project management ability (Experience with ClickUp a plus)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environmentExperience supporting lead generation and product launch campaignsFamiliarity with marketing analytics and conversion trackingExperience integrating third-party tools via native integrations, Zapier, or webhooksKey Deliverable Outcomes (First 6–12 Months)Our marketing campaigns are deployed accurately and on schedule.Our lead flow through the CRM is seamless and measurable.Our sales pipeline automation reduces manual work and increases follow-up consistency.Our nurture sequences are functioning and improving conversion rates.Our CRM data is clean, organized, and actionable.Our Ideal Candidate Has These Attributes:Systems thinker and problem solverDetail-oriented and execution-focusedHighly organized and deadline-drivenData-aware and results-orientedCollaborative and proactive communicatorCOMPENSATION & DETAILSThis position is a Full time, W-2 employee.
